So you are using GoD with Disc 2 as well? I thought the reason you didn't experience any popups was because you played from an extracted folder (the way i'm about to try).

I have no USB connected, all runs on internal 750GB 2,5" drive.

So just launch dashlaunch and make sure nosystemupdate = true and all will be well?

So I can just add the folder to the directory I would normally use for GOD, and FSD will recognize and play it?

Can I be absolutely certain that the game won't try and update kernel/dash or anything of the like?

Can i simply FTP the extracted Disc 2 folder to anywhere on the Xbox and launch default.xex with xexmenu? It won't try and update something or anything else?

Seems like irishdave's is working. But apparently he isn't using GOD. I hope he returns to explain just how he installs his games

Im having the exact same problem, it's REALLY annoying (hard to miss popups on 106")

So the solution would be NOT to make a GOD? Should i just copy over the content from the ISO file and launch via the .xex file? Or can FSD even read a game that isnt GOD? Should i just launch from xexmenu? Help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I am very new to all of this, but as it turns out my Xbox Guide is just the normal one(asking me to connect to Xbox Live), even though I've just updated to FSD3 (and downloaded latest beta updates).

I am sure I'm doing something wrong, but what? Please help!

Edit: I have no problems connecting to JQE360 or getting UPNP up and running.

Edit2: I am running 16202 with avatar/kinect updates. Been reading for hours, still no idea what i'm doing wrong :/
