Evrything set up correctly inc updates , joined a room, but when i try to join in system link, i cant see any games going on!!! Any solutions?

i have not installed any skins, just downloaded TU for games and lot of my personal saved games and covers. So my question is if i update FS3 from inbuilt updater, later power down and reboot xbox, will it cause any crashes and what all will be wiped? I really need my saved games and games stored on HDD! Thx

E79: Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it.

I ws told on tx that dashlaunch must be updated with new 16197 image, is that correct or just updating dashlaunch will do? I am on 15574 and just preparing myself for retail dvd.

Is this the problem with ext hdd? Or have you tried storing in internal hdd?

Will fsd detect god formatted games if i put it in hdd:/games folder. I have kept it in folder of contents with 16 zeros in it. Thx. If yes what should be the scan depth, its currently 2 for games folder and i have games in xex format in that folder. Thx again.
