    I tried to create an account there, so I could get the source, to see about adding aurora rom launching support, and it is not letting new users register. If you have an account there, can see if you can get me the code from ced, or whoever is continuing work on this, or see if they will add it in themselves, if support for this isnt there already? I can get them the necessary code that would need to be added for that feature to work. :) Or if you could ask them to create an account here, and have them PM me, that would work also. :)

    Hey no problem just as long as credit is given how far are you on it Im working on the settings.xui right now had to make another icon for the connectx tab.

     

    If everything goes as I want I should have this ready by the weekend with work and the family life in the mix

    I've finished, i haven't created the tabs as in yours tho, not enough time and patience to learn how to do it. But if yours is out so soon, no poing in posting mine here, i'll keep it for myself since yours will be way better with tabs and stuff ;)

    Two options-  create a Quick View with your desired filter and sorts and set it as default or revert back to 0.4b.   Quick View adds a level of complexity to the customization that we found the added confusion of user specific filters mixed in with Quick View was not intuitive-   

     

    Aurora is all about ease of use ^^

    (Updated) Game Content Manager to use new Session variables instead of user locked filter settings

    Yeah, i thought i've missed something. One question tho. Can i revert this in some way? I liked the old User Locked Filter Settings.

    Gta5 has nothing to do with aurora, or fsd for that matter.

    I can confirm. GTA 5 works perfectly with Aurora 0.5b.

    LE: One problem i've spotted. When i go to Filters & Sort and pick for example Xbox 360, Aurora is showing only Xbox 360 games as it should but this happens only for current session. If i start a game and later on, exit to dashboard, Filters & Sort are reverted to show all games360/gamesxbox1/emulators..etc. Same thing happens when i restart the console.

    From what i remember, on 0.4b, when i was setting Xbox 360 only in Filters & Sort, this setting was active even if i restarted the console.

    A bug maybe? Or something i'm missing?

    You need to open ports on your router in order for Link to work. Open 3071-3072 ports on your router --> Port Forwarding.

    Or re-enable UPNP on your router. (i suppose your settings got lost when you rebooted it)

    Use Dashlaunch to setup FANSpeed as Swizzy said. As about the filters, they are wicked once you get used to them. I was a bit confused also at start, but now, i just find it perfect.

    Imagine the filers thing as being an user coming from Windows 7 to the new Windows 8, at first you'll hate it but once you get the hang, you're going to love it ;)

    It doesn't matter, at least for me. I use a custom router FW and i didn't want UpNP as we all know it's a big security hole. Even so, without UpNP, i can play on link without problems. You should have no problems either if you properly forwarded Link ports through the router.

    Yea everything is working fine. I hope they can change the freestyle plugin. At least change the name to aurora instead of freestyle home for the sake of the experience and remove the bottom black bar that showing the game detail. Do that then they can call it the final version of aurora

    That name doesn't bother me at all, can live with it. When comes to the black bottom bar, i think you can edit your theme or make another one without that? Not sure tho, i don't have access to my xbox atm, i'm on a roadtrip.
