    I got it to populate finally. Had to run a manual scan again after the startup scan finished. But none of my ROMs show up in any of the emulators except for RetroArch. I have the ROMs in the roms folder. I was just going to transfer the emulators to the Xbox HDD but it always fails halfway through the ROMs. This is for all the emulators. FTP does the same thing


  2. whatever housing you have the 500gb in change it for the 250,this will let you know the housing isn't the issue..If the 500 plays up while in that housing it suggests the hdd is the culprit.Placing the 500 in an external housing & running seagate seatools for windows will confirm if bad sectors exist (a re-format maybe necessary for seatools to see the drive)

    I ran it with seatools and did the long scan and is said it passed


  3. i have a 500gb WD HDD that im using for my RGH. Small files transfered over fine. such as FSD3, dashlaunch, ect.

     

    whenever i try to transfer any kind of DLC, XBLA, or game, it fails to transfer over. my other HDD works fine, the one that came with the console. but it is only a 250gb

     

    i have used filezilla, xbox neighborhood, GODspeed, FXP, but nothing will work. it recognizes the content and i can browse all directories and files, but when i try to transfer anything over it just fails. for xbox neighborhood i typically get "lost connection" but i know i didn't since i can still browse the DIR fine

     

    i've tried using FATXplorer and that would transfer maybe 100mb then hard drive clicks once and i lose connection. 

     

    i have tried Xexmenu by transfer over from a USB to that hdd, samething. HDD clicks once and console reboots.

     

    the HDD is new out of a laptop, formatted multiple times for the console and started fresh over and over. ran multiple test on the HDD and does not show anything wrong.

     

    wtf is wrong here?!? i'm about 3 tries away from just throwing this console out the window and lighting it on fire

  4. I think they would have to modify the hacked xbox emulator, or even make a new one, which is a lot of work.

    However, I also hope we will be able to play Classic xbox games with Link.

    but think about how much easier things would be with that? no more xbconnect, no more xlink kai. just launch some halo 2 and join a game


  5. Yeah, I did all my testing on a devkit when developing LiNK- definitely do not need devlink or ping patch or dash launch to use link.

    Easiest way to run with title updates is to manually patch the games to the TU you want to use.

    When I patch it with the title update it gives me the can't launch so then I put the xex through x360gamehack and then when I load the xex I get a black screen with an ocassional flicker


  6. wondering if it was possible to get unity to run original xbox game system link like xbc and xlink kai?

     

    i know you get signed out and the guide button isn't fully functional like it would be with a 360 game, but with what you guys did with the FSD guide and added system link to that, couldn't you do the same with the original xbox games?


  7. Devlink is what you need. pm me. i got link you need. man you lucky one you, xdk. I want one so bad xdk. i dont like rgloader, so buggy.

    Actually I don't need it. Turns out if you activate it with fsd or aurora it gets complicated since apparently aurora plugin does it fine. My issue now is trying to get title updates working with an xdk

    And no you don't. Unless you plan on developing stuff it's too much of a hassle to mess around with retail games and dlc


  8. i am trying to get system link to work with unity, but it is grayed out. i went through the tutorial and when i verify link settings everything goes through except system link ping limit and devkit system link.

     

    now i am on a devkit (not rgloader) and from my understanding i need the devlink in order to connect to a retail console and there is also no ping limit for dev kits so the ping patch wouldn't be necessary. not to mention i can't run dashlaunch on an xdk

     

    any help would be appreciated on getting this to work on my xdk!
