    I doubt they could route anything through the live servers without a ban, on a wide spread scale.

    I mean like through the xbox its self not through the servers. IE the xbox must know what servers to patch into when connecting to live such information has to be stored some where in a file what if there was some way to re route that information to jqe360. For instance on our xboxs it says microsoft live servers 134.32.3.14 or something right? what if we changed that to jqe360 and ran a server there for live?

    I have a two questions for the team, An thank you for your hard work the dashboard is amazing. My questions is what happens when jqe360 stops hosting is there anyway we as users will be able to create our own server to host games? My second question is sense jqe360 is like a host for system linking is there anyway to trick the console to use the xbox live option and route that to system link to jqe360? The last question was pretty hard to explain i did my best hope you will understand it.

    ty brother. call of duty works just great.

    the question is, if i want other games, like pro evolution, fifa, nba 2k13, after i downloaded the tu from fsd, there are still no folders named with the id of these games (pes, fifa, gears of war 3 ), so i need to open folders like i did with bo2 with the games id, until here every thing is clear, and then u said with bo 2 i opened a folder and put the tu inside 000B0000. you said in halo 4 you need to put it in 00000002 folder after i opened the id folder so in halo and cod i understood which folder i must open in the game id folder, but what with other games? which names do i need to write in the folder in content ---> 0000000 ( the game id )----> then what ??( folder name ?)

    in call of duty is 000B0000 in halo is 00000002 but how do i know which names to other games?

    when i put the tu itself if it is not cod or halo tu.

    the way i found it was i first deleted everything in the game id folder then downloaded the tus and the only folder that should be in there would be the tu folder. actually dont have to delete everything just move it somewhere.

    Thank you for such an amazing tutorial. Finally I understood why the heck does my Skyrim's TU doesn't work. I've checked my default.xex's file with abgx and it shows my media id as 00000000...

    However, I'm not on Jtag, I just modded my console and are running my skyrim from my dvd (backup copy). is there any way for me to patch the default.xex to my dvd, perhaps creating an iso image of my backup skyrim, copy the default.xex and re-burn it?

    appreciate your help.

    Correct, you will need to make a iso image from disc once you have created that image you can open it with xbox360commander then delete the default.xex and replace it with the new one then make a iso image with xiso then burn back to disc.

    JUST DO EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE POSTED HERE EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY::::::::::

    You are making this harder then it is, just delete everything in your black ops content folder content/000000/415608C3 <--------------- DELETE THIS I GAVE YOU A WHOLE NEW ONE. Now place the default.xex and other file into your black ops game directory then just play the game have fun thats it. TO CHECK IF THE UPDATE IS WORKING JUST GO TO THE GAME AND ACT LIKE YOUR GOING TO PLAY IT INSTEAD OF PRESSING A PRESS Y AND GO DOWN TO THE MANAGE TITLE UPDATES. YOU DONT NEED ALL THREE JUST TU3 ITS THE LATEST ONE.

    EXAMPLE

    HDD1:/CONTENT/00000000/415608C3 DELETE THE FOLDER 415608C3

    NOW PUT MY NEW FOLDER IN THERE IN THE BO2 ZIP THERES THE 415608C3

    WHERE IS BO2 GAME LOCATED? USB HDD? FIND IT REPLACE YOUR DEFAULT.XEX AND THE OTHER I GAVE YOU THERES TWO XEX FILES

    GO TO PLAY YOUR GAME

    INSTEAD OF PRESSING A

    PRESS THE Y

    THEN SCROLL DOWN TO MANAGE GAME TITLES

    Maybe try to run fsd through xbox360hack and try to make the default.xex a dev/kit version I dont own a dev/kit but I figure maybe it might work. Just an idea i know how it feels not to be replied to.

    I am pretty sure the developers figure the same situation that how much time would it take them to write that code to make your idea come to life. Then take the two options write the code or let users google it. I am very sure you can google the information you would like to know its less time and effort on the team and you can actually say that you contributed to less stress on their part. Plus I would much rather them try to have time to work out bugs with this said i firmly agree with irishdave and spazz2203

    Well this is what i do, I can not verify that ntsc or pal games will link to each other but my game was ntsc and i found that with this method i could join more games.

    Yes you should uncheck dev/kit unless you own a developers kit.

    CONCEPT IDEA IS TO BROADEN YOUR CHANCES OF JOINING GAMES. BASICALLY MY THEORY MIGHT BE WRONG BUT IF IM NOT THEN THIS WILL HELP

    EXAMPLE:

    SAY I HAVE NTSC AND YOU OWN A PAL DISC "ARE THESE GAMES COMPATIBLE TOGETHER"? SO REGION FREE MEANS ANY GAME CONSOLE CAN PLAY THIS DISC AND ITS NOT LIMITED TO PAL OR NTSC IT CAN PLAY WITH BOTH CONSOLES. WHICH JTAG OR RGH ALREADY DO WE ARNT LIMITED BUT IM NOT SURE IF THE SOFTWARE IS LIKE WINDOWS VS MAC THESE SYSTEMS ARE INCOMPATIBLE MAYBE THE GAMES CANT PLAY AGAINST EACH OTHER.

    ITS JUST A THEORY AND IT WORK FOR ME SO I DECIDED TO POST THIS FOR EVERYONE TO TRY AND MAYBE IT WILL HELP OUT.

    Well the thing is i had the title updates 1-3 from downloading it with Fsd, how would i make the one i downloaded manually show in there?

    Bud you should just delete all of the title updates and put that one in there

    hi people

    i had Link working once i managed to join a black ops 2 game.

    i cant seem to do anything anymore.

    link passes everything. ports pass etc, username and pass are correct, i can load up bo2 go to system link and see all the rooms and players,

    when i click on some rooms its just blank nothing happens.

    when i do get into a room theres no games.

    sometimes it just turns my xbox off ( jasper rgh1 )

    very odd as i think Link is a excellent idea but i just cant join any games

    once i created a game and left it 10 mins then a few people had joined

    am i doing something wrong? or it is the servers? no Ubergeek replys please lol im not a n00b just wanna get Link working as it saves me having to have me laptop with xbslink on.

    any ideas anyone?

    btw also tried using f3 to get TU and ive manually got TU3 and 2 and 1 in the right folder.

    very aggrivating

    All you need to do is download my BO2.ZIP extract the files the 415608c3 will be placed in the content/0000000 folder next step the default.xex and default_mp.xex will go into your game folder what ever its called example i named mine black ops ii after you are done play the game then exit go into your title update manager by pressing y on your game and then manage title updates it should be there and checked green if not check it green then rejoin game. http://www.filebox.com/8tyse6ixh1xl

    If your fsd is on the usb then just download fsd3 beta and replace the file if not do the following

    You will need the following items, XEXMENU LIVE, HORIZON, FSD3 BETA, USB STICK. Okay here we go first format a usb stick with the xbox to use it as memory DONT FORMAT ALL OF THE STICK THE LESS THE BETTER. Now take the usb stick and place it into your computer and move the fsd3 beta files to it next open HORIZON as ADMIN then goto tools Device Explorer on the right hand side you will see your usb stick click a folder called GAMES then press the inject button find your XEXMENU and inject that. Now place that usb into your xbox and go to the games area on the main dash play xexmenu. Now delete the FSD folder not the one on the usb then move the one on the usb over. OH REMEMBER THE LOCATION NAME OF THE FOLDER YOU DELETED MAKE SURE YOU RENAME THE FOLDER ONCE IT IS MOVE OR EVEN BEFORE HAND. Boot off console and now it should work.

    I downloaded the TU3 for 05c7492a, even downloaded it again just to make sure i didnt pick the wrong one still wont work, do i need to make the title update appear in fsd3's manage titles tab?

    YES IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE TITLE UPDATE MANAGER TAB AND CHECKED GREEN BUD. Give me a few minutes im going to upload my title update and default.xex then it will work for sure.

    Hi, i've tried to enter a session in Link, BO2 and i've got this messeage: my PINGPATCH and DEVLINK are enabled, and the test for the link passed. I tried to use TU1 and TU3. *I use ICS.
