  1. I don't remember if it was here that I saw someone talking about it, but I saw someone talking about it around here, so I'll talk about it again

Something to change the resolution on the fly for some games would be good, like starting an OG Xbox game and it goes to 480p, and then when you go back to Aurora the resolution returns to 1080p

Some games like SoulCalibur 2 only have widescreen in 480p mode, and some games run better at this resolution too

    Dunno if it's possible though

  2. You can enable remotenxe in dash launch and it will take you to NXE when you power it on with your remote. I'm not sure why it states (one time), but I just tested it and it booted to NXE multiple times when powering on with remote.

    Thanks, it works!

I'm asking for this because I only have a wired controller, so I had to get up from my bed and use the controller to go to NXE, now I don't need to get up lol I'm a lazy ass

Thanks for everyone that answered too

  3. Did you follow my steps? get the XNA/INDIE TU? unlock with content manager/xm360/enable xblapatch in dashlaunch?

Yes, I'm no noob in the XBLIG department lol

I just want to know if anyone who tried to play the game got success in doing it, I asked a friend of mine and he said he get the same error

  4. I made those two icons for people who just pass lurking over here and wants to rename the "Freestyle Home" to "Aurora Home" with some cool icons

But I fucked up the colors and I'm too lazy to fix it, so whatever lol

  5. Wow, this is crazy! You really need to check the tutorial section, I'll try to help you

You can learn lots of stuff here: http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/4959-every-thing-you-need-to-know-about-your-rghjtag/

Well, read everything you can find on the tutorials section! But basically to play the games you need to extract it and put inside your HDD (external or internal) and use something to run it! You can play with discs too, but not with LT Xtreme stuff discs or something

  6. As Swizzy said, try using nohdmiwait, this solvedsome problems I had with my TV

And sometimes my TV cuts off too because the eletricity stuff here on my house is kinda bad, sometimes when someone turn on a light my TV fade to black and goes back to normal, so try plugging your TV & Xbox on another socket

  7. We can't allow users to upload any size files... it'd be a huge security hole... it would mean that a handful of computers could be told to upload a large file over and over... and it'd bring the server down easily... large files tend to take a while to download (upload from your computer) and process

The admins are working on multiple things, while they also have a personal life to attend to... not everyone is like me and can spend almost every waking hour answering questions and/or building homebrew applications

I know allowing everyone to upload 500+Mb files on the server is not a viable way, and I know you guys can't spend 24 hours here

I was thinking about allowing trustable members to upload the big TUs, or even you guys upload the big TUs, I don't know how the system works but maybe it is possible

Sorry if I sounded like an asshole with "the guys who administrate the site should do something about it", it was not my intention

  8. Try getting it from xbox unity. I have only ever had one problem getting a dlc from unity, and my xbox was downloading the wrong region dlc. Then again this was back in the days that FSD forced you to download all the dlc for the game. Havnt had this problem since FSD 3 rev 775 came out. :)

I think Shadow of Mordor's TU2 is too big to upload on Xbox Unity, the guys who administrate the site should do something about it

  9. Ok, so overheating is maybe the wrong word to use, but basically... the console is running at such a high temperature that the components inside slowly degrade in quality over time faster then they would under normal circumstances... and, the board becomes a little bit soft or how i should call it, basically it bends easier due to the heat... the x-clamp(s) causes the board to slightly warp due to this... over time this causes the processor to no longer have full contact with the board, this is what causes RROD

    Nice, thanks for the explanation

  10. Actually, my PS2 failed one time, but not because of the laser

One day my energy started to go on and off, and then something on the PS2 burned out, I don't remember what

Luckily my electricity company paid the repair, hehe

Anyway, how do I know if my Xbox is overheating? When I look at the temperature it is always some degrees down from the limit, and when I play some demanding games it peaks at the limit but never goes up from what is set (the default values)

  11. I have my 360 for three years and never had a problem, but I think this kinda stuff tends to break someday

And I think Microsoft would not screw it up 2 times, the old model had a bad lifespan, the S model I have should last longer

And the consoles nowadays have less durability than the consoles from the past, my PS2 never failed me

But I don't know nothing, so who knows lol
