  1. TU's are stored in Device:\Cache\ or Device:\Content\0000..00\TitleID\000B0000\

When it comes to reading the devices there are many alternatives... depending on which exact device you're going to be using there are tools that are easy to use for this purpose, and some that have better compatibility with the devices...

The internal MU on a Corona is not something anything can read afaik, neither for Jasper... afaik there aren't even anything to properly communicate with the trinity modules... there might be if you make an adapter which converts between 3.3v and 5v (Xbox 360 -> Normal USB)

What about moving tu to flash drive? It would be easier.

  2. I made the upgrade on a old laptop for now, works great there... gotta figure out a way to make my Windows 8.1 Home allow me to install a legit Windows 10 Pro which is what i have on my other laptop xD

Well if you really want pro you could try just manually downloading the pro version.

  3. it's mostly because people try and use the wifi on their xbox's.. use hardline, or download it on PC and FTP/USB transfer it to the xbox.. problem solved.. and trainee.. if this is the same guy there.. you can PM me here haha

It's not Wi-Fi I've had the issue lately to. Now I know why. It's probably a server issue or Microsoft doing something.

  4. This version has some "hd" switch somewhere because games look horribly blocky compared eo ePSX on PC?

Push back and start then go to filters and choose whichever you prefer. I use ddt.cfg and xSoft filters.

  5. I don't know about other skin makers, but I personally will be porting mine to v.5 in the coming days ,and getting them uploaded asap.

if anyone out there would like any info or help making/updating skins feel free to ask, though I don't have time to spend hours and hours teaching individuals the entire process, I am willing to answer any questions to the best of my ability , and or post some tutorials if the information would be useful to other skin makers as well.

You could make a tutorial video on Youtube and post a step by step process on here if you have time.

  6. Topic moved, as this is not a tutorial.

Anyway to answer your question, there is no easy way to install cover art via usb. If you are running FSD, then there is a nice option to push covers from the computer using the webUI. This feature is not used in aurora. Unfortunatly, for you at least, aurora doesnt save the covers as images, but instead, it is more of a memory map of pixels, that the xbox can recognise. This means that the covers load faster, but the only way to do it would be to get the required files off of an xbox that already has them. I dont know exactly how FSD stores cover data.

Long story short, you are better off configuring dashlaunch to block live, and then connecting to xbox unity, and downloading the covers, and title updates from there, just like everyone else does. :)

Dude Aurora does have push to to Dash feature it uses Xbox Unity.

  7. Found limitation in filters list, when opening xsoft filters it can't select any of them so I made an xsoft2 folder and put 6 of the 12 filters in there and now I they can all be selected.

  8. Hello Forum

New member here looking for suggestions.

I have rgh 360. I installed xexmenu, dashlaunch, freestye dash 3 on a 250gb hdd about  18 months ago. I recently went to 1TB hdd and installed the same 3 aforementioned apps. I have 2 issues I can't figure out with this new 1TB hdd. Xbla game Bastion when placed on the 250 hdd fires up and plays but on the TB hdd it says "system update required" and starts freestyle again.

The other issue is on 250 hdd by pushing the sign in button it brings up file brower option where I can start any game from here but the TB hdd doesn't have the file browser option therefore I have to quit the game and go back to freestyle to select and start up another game.

These are the 2 issues I'm having difficulties figuring out. I shouldn't have waited 18 months to configure the TB hdd. Thanks for suggestions

Did you get the update done?

  9. I know that there have been multiple threads on this.  Just wanted to get a definitive answer.

Can I use an HFS formatted external (WD My Book 2TB) to launch backups on my RGH 360 through FSD3?

I know about setting paths, etc. etc.  Just simply want to see if FSD3 rev 775 accepts HFS to launch backups.

    Thanks, in advance.

No it will not work with complete functionality.

You can connect your HFS+ compatible Media Player, such as iPod and reproduce your Music over Xbox 360.

iPods do not use HFS+ they are FAT32 because if they were HFS+ they wouldn't on Windows PCs.
