I got the same issue and I dont think its a network problem...
Since I have upgraded fsd 2 to fsd 3 I have no FTP connection anymore. I can´t even Ping my Xbox from PC. I have deactivated Firewalls but it didnt help. So I tryed samba. On this way it works like described by Jussila.

Maybe more people have the same issue? Or someone an Idea?
