Just wanted to share a way to play the BO3 Beta for Xbox One for free real quick.

So actually the beta is closed now and you need a code, the public beta starts friday, and it ends sunday.
If you dont have a code though you can easily just do this in order to download the beta for free:

1. Visit xbox.com and login.

2. Visit https://store.xbox.com/Shell/ChangeLocale and change your language to "Japanese".

3. Visit  https://store.xbox.com/ja-JP/Xbox-One/Games/Call-of-Duty-Black-Ops-III-Multiplayer-Beta/3aff42d2-453c-437a-a489-c49a7b068e84 and "purchase" the beta. It is completely for free. Cant tell you what to click on, but generelly its the green buttons, should be easy.

4. Visit https://store.xbox.com/Shell/ChangeLocale again and change the language to the one you had before.

5. Now your xbox might have started the download, if yes you have to cancel it and restart it. Just do this by going on the Beta download, pressing the menu button and cancelling it. Then you need to be going to the store and search for "black ops". The Beta should be on the right. Select it and download it and you will have it for free + in the right language.

As mentioned this works only for Xbox One of course.

Luckily I am able to add TUs again, so if you were stuck on TU15 then you will just be able to update to TU17, and you still need the 6 Comp Packs.

This is already supported by Dashlaunch... there's autofake for specific TitleID's... which is basically what you're asking for, this supports up to 10 additional TitleID's (beyond those that are built into it which is the dash and indie launcher)

In my case I played Red Dead Redemption with Fakelive activated and didnt deactivate it so this is why I had problems in AC Black Flag.

Also for Advanced Warfare you need Fakelive, and if you are playing Black Ops 1 with the newest TU and use Fakelive, the game wont start. Also some other games cause trouble with fakelive activated, Assassins Creed Black Flag (Singleplayer) for example or Borderlands 2

If you wanna play a good game play with cable and with people from your area who have a good upload bandwith.

You can fix it very easily.

Get the Nuketown DLC file (name should be "96C87E4AB044B236F8A2272C65E8B7396172668A41") on your PC, download and install a program called "Hxd".

Then open the file in Hxd and press Ctrl+G, enter 234 and press 8 time "F" and save it.

Should look like this:

Or try enabling contpatch in dashlaunch. I have only had to unlock like 1 thing ever with xm360, contpatch will patch most content on the fly.

How about Title Updates? Did you already let Aurora search for TUs?

Maybe it shouldnt extract the data from the NXE, because many people dont even use it and most likely never set the settings up. Also i know many people who arent English, who have their NXE in English.

 

I often play Black Ops 2, would also like to play Modern Warfare 3 but there are too many cheaters.

@saatster i used to upload the remaining TUs when I saw that a new TU was released, cant do that unfortunately at the moment, would be really great if you could help the community out and upload all the remaining TUs (if you can) to xboxunity.net.

Alright, it looks like the XBLA game and the 4 DLC episodes have been put on the Disc, so just go to create a folder called "58411413" to this path:

Hdd/Content/000...

Then in this new folder copy the 2 folders 00000002 and 000D0000.

If this is identical to the XBLA version (just with no DRM) you should be able to search for TUs, so after you let Aurora do a scan it should find the game and treat it like an XBLA. If this worked, you can delete the remaining files.

I really like your ideas. Too bad the Report function will most likely not be implemented, because people would abuse it. And beginners would have trouble telling cheaters from good players.

About game inviting: I think after accepting an invitation the Plugin could check the games Path from the Aurora Folder and Launch it.

About Recent Players: I am sure the Plugin Couldnt Tell Players you played with from players you were in a room with.

One thing i would love to have in a new plugin is being able to choose while creating a room wether players who play on wifi can join or not.

Also it would be useful if you could add more than just 1 language. And another thing: yes you can easily Lie about it, but I mean who cares? Its the persons Problem and it isnt Harming anyone. I am excited for more!

And another thing, is it a game file modification or a trainer? If it is some kind of custom default_mp.xex it might depend on your Media ID.

Keep in mind that even if you do donate to the service, you don't get any more say in how things are implemented etc. etc. everyone have equally much to say about things, whether you donate or not doesn't matter, now obviously... if you do donate it'll more likely keep the service running and will likely increase motivation to develop new features aswell as fix issues that aren't the end of the world...

We do not Pay, but know, that we are ready to Pay. I think the Problem here is that Most people think "it isnt gonna help if only i donate" so we somehow have to Organize that.
