  1. If you could buy a lanli case that would be great. Sadly there are no 3rd party cases for the xbox.

Also there is no reason you can't get a third part case and move it.

The real thing is that there is no where else to mount things and i wanted it to be a single unit to move. Its easily portable, cool and stable.

  2. I have a water cooled Jasper JTAG.

Its in perfect working condition. Comes with cables and hookups, 1 controller and an HDMI cable.

I will supply a small HDD and install F3 with dashlaunch.

    asking 250$ + shipping.

  3. Content Assets are stored in a packed binary now. We use the head to defne what offsets each art asset is at and how long it is.

the only difference in content items is the kinectflag that is correct.

TeamFSD Once again brings your XBOX 360 to the next level.

I am honoured to present to you Freestyle 3. A seamless combination of existing FSD code with Future RxE Code.
Now before i hear the screams and woes. RxE is being worked on, but due to technical and staffing limitations
it is taking much longer than anticipated.

This release will bring to you some of the major improvements researched for RXE and allow you to use them today.
There is of course Coverflow as well as an enhaced HTTP service (fixes the chrome connection bug).
Also we are bringing indie support (with dashlaunch) to your gamelist.
And of course , how could i forget, Kinect integration throughout the entire dash. Both voice and gesture based controls.

    PLEASE READ THE README.
it explains the kinect gestures and informs you of requirements for how to make it all work.

** NOTE ** if you install this over your existing FSD it will DELETE YOUR DATABASE.
    NEW INSTALL ONLY!
    you have been warned.

    With pleasure, TeamFSD.

  5. TeamFSD.com is no more

The teamfsd.com domain is controlled by someone who was on the team and is no longer in contact with us. At this point we have no way of contacting that individual. I assure you TeamFSD is still doing what we do best and some exciting stuff will be coming from us soon.

Do not ask about RxE that is not what this post is about.

This is going to now be the official support forums for FSD from this point forward.

Stay tuned and watch this location for more news to come.

TheMaister and Twinaphex release another update of their multi emulator/game system called RetroArch for Xbox 360 today.

RetroArch is a modular multi-system emulator system that is designed to be fast, lightweight and portable. It has features few other emulator frontends have, such as real-time rewinding and game-aware shading.

Libretro is the API that RetroArch uses. It makes it easy to port games and emulators to a single core backend, such as RetroArch.

For the user, this means – more ports to play with, more crossplatform portability, less worrying about developers having to reinvent the wheel writing boilerplate UI/port code – so that they can get busy with writing the emulator/porting the emulator/game

  8. Brought to you by albert_dark. A tool to help FSD load faster if you use alphabetical game lists.

    To FSD 2.2

I made this app to organize better the data of the the Freestyle Dash.(if your games are alphabeticaly ordered).

The idea is simple, when you add a game on FSD it creates an index pointing to the data of the game, and when loading art from the games (cover and background) it follows that index.

The problem: this index is not organized alphabetically. it makes the game load the covers for the date you added, this means that if you add a game today started with the letter 'A' he will be the last to display the information, but the first in the games list.

Solution. This app recreates the indexes alphabetically and grouped by type (XBLA, Classic xbox, xbox360, Apps, Emulators).
This makes the loading of the covers better for those who use the games in alphabetical order.

To use just double click in fsd2dataOrganizer.jar and follow the instructions in the app. You will need the last version of Java.

    DOWNLOAD:

You will need the 'gameData' folder and 'fs2data.bd' file. To do this quickly select fsd folder on your PC and 'map as network drive'.

Backup your gamedata folder (copy to pendrive or make a new folder on hdd and copy by fsd, will be more quickly than my app backuping over network).

    Build Here
    --
    The source code Here

    -- To DO

    - Gui (Done)
    - More Quickly Queries (done)
    - More Options (done)
    - Bug fixes (done until now)

OBS. Everytime you add a new game, it will be the last to load the art again, and there's nothing to do about, that is how FSD works. Then if you want use the app to organize again.

  9. Brought to you by SKFU

I think my first public X360 release :)

This is just a VERY basic application which I've developed for some tests last night. I guess it's quality is good enough to share it even if it does not do much, yet :p

Surely you cant expect any error handling or similar for now. Windows only atm.

  11. xK3Y Review

    By: JQE of TeamFSD

The xK3Y is a DVD Emulation device allowing you to use ISO files on a USB harddrive instead of DVDs to launch games.

My initial feel for the device was that it seemed simple enough. The documentation seemed overly simplified and took a few reads to fully understand, but in the end it turned out to really be that simple. The installation went exactly as expected, You copy a few fles to a mini SD card and plug it in, then you plug the device inline with your DVD cables. Finally you run a ribbon cable out the back of the case and connect it to a usb dongle. There are a lot of different methods you can use to access the games on your HDD. First being the included remote, you can browser the ISO files and pick which one to launch. Second is called MenuISO which allows you to launch the games from Picture App, third is DVDMenu which loads the gamelist in a sort of CoverFlow and allows you to select which one, finally is using the WiFi dongle and using any web enabled device (with native apps for iphone and android). Also has a bypass mode allowing you to use the original DVD Drive.

    Pros:
    • Maintains the Safety of your original discs and allows you to access your games from a USB HDD
    • Easier to take multiple Games with you as they all fit on the HDD
    • Simplicity, no soldering or modifications to existing hardware. plugs inline.

    Cons:
    • Complex to get to and from the games. Many steps to load each game.
    • Not considered live safe (though it seems to be working on live at the time of writing this)
    • cost, It does have a steep cost in comparison to DVD Fw and other options.

I would suggest if you have a few extra dollars that this is a useful tool to allow you to play your games from USB without JTAG / RGH and still play online (not marked as live safe though).
