    JQE360.com is dedicated to bringing the RGH/JTAG community everything they need to get the most out of their modded console but now we need something from you!
     
    Jqe360.com will be undergoing a massive transformation sometime in the near future and we would like the community to be apart of the action by designing a new header for the site. Show us your skills by replying to this thread with your contest entry and feel free to be as creative as you like.
     
    The header should be 800x180 and the background should be extendable to fill across the screen and remember that this is a JQE360 header so it should have no mention of LiNK, RMS or Freestyle Dash. Do not worry about color scheme, i will match to the header, be creative and create the new Face of JQE360.com
    The lucky contest winner will receive a brand new Glitch 360SPI 3.0 as a prize !

  2. OK first of to delete Indie games you MUST be on the newest release. There was an issue before that.

    Second All indie games are in the same folder.

    Third. DO Not remove content from outside F3 unless you wipe DB or it gets jacked cause its all linked together.

     

    To explain. F3 scans your folders adds an content Item to DB then it creates a File that stores all content for the item based on index in the DB. When you delete and rescan the DB but not the gamedata folder then the packed content doesn 't match.

     

    Next be patient sometimes delete takes time. How long did you wait before you considered it a freeze? did Dashlaunch or F3 report a crash? do you have crash reporting on? Sometimes patience is a virtue.


  3. I am guessing you lost connection to the server somehow, maybe lag or ping issue. Does this happen all the time or just occasionally? does your isp limit traffic on none standard ports (like to control torrents?) maybe you are getting throttled ...


  4. OK i will give a quick explanation of what is happending. I am thinking of trying to implement something in the future but not sure it will work.

     

    The technical reason why local system link doesn't work when link is enabled is called NAT Reflection.

    when a router running nat receives a request for its own IP it doesn't forward to the net it just passes to the correct location (Being itself). So the nat port forwarding doesn't work and it gets messed up. 

    So there is 1 way to fix this on your end, use a router that supports nat reflection which makes the forwards work internally also.

     

    The second way is be patient and hope we find a stable low overhead way of fixing this.


  5. A few things to note.

     

    FIRST you can mod all you like, just NOT in public rooms. Modded consoles doesn't mean do whatever you want, a lot of work went into them. It just means we want to own our hardware and do what we want with it.

     

    Second. There is ingame screenshots configured now, Pressback and hold it while you press start (or whatever you configure in the settings of F3). Take screenshots of obvious cheating and send it to and admin here or post in the threads. If you have a screenshot of a cheater we can take action. 

     

    There is no reason people can't be fair and keep their mods to private rooms. Also please mark modded rooms with the Modded flag.


  6. you know what. Here is the thing. Open source is great. Except when people spout shit and rant about it then do shit with it.

     

    WE make the code we use for the scene to use free of charge without any expectations. 3 times we have released our source code and you know what has come back to the scene from it? Not one thing. not one person has done ANYTHING with our code.

    SO updating the googlecode page to satisfy some internet whiner who is trying to make some point isn't worth the effiort.

     

    So if you want to complain about how we are doing things, go make something and come back. otherwise leave us to do our thing and SHARE it for free and fun.

    I am done releasing source code some a few people can make their own version and horde it and sit on it for themselves. Seems pretty stupid,

  10. There is a lot planned for the future of link, but first and foremost is stability. Be patient and let us work through the process to deliver the best experience we can.

    This being a hobby driven endeavor you cannot expect us to match What live can do. But we will bring you all the features we can.


  11. What i can say is that F3 does not permanently change your fan speeds at all. We only change it on the fly. So any change made in F3 to Fan speeds is undone when you restart. 

     

    Now that being said i HIGHLY recommend setting temp thresholds to control your fan speed and NOT using F3 to do it.

    Making the fans spin faster all the time can cause extra wear and possibly more heat being generated when its not necesary, using temp thresholds will have your xbox running at the temperature you want all the time and the xbox can decide how fast to spin the fans. Honestly the Fan speeds in F3 are a legacy thing from before we could do it with dashlaunch easily.


  12. I thought about how to respond to this. I think I will just keep it simple.

    Registration and forgot password work fine. Forgot password only works for activated accounts.

    There was a problem a few weeks(or months not sure lol) that broke activation. It was fixed but all accounts registered in that time are lost in limbo.

    If you can Private message me with the account Name and the email address associated with it I will check it. If it is not activated I will remove it and you can re-register with that name.

    as for Hotmail, 12,000 of our 20,000 users are Hotmail email addresses so that is really not the issue.
