games805 4 Posted February 29, 2020 I didn't see where to post this exactly, so my apologies. I have fatxplorer and am transferring over a full 500gb hdd via windows integration usb 3.0. I'm getting an error most likely due to over 42 characters. Is there a batch program i can use to reduce the amount of characters to make it work with the fatx drive? Will the file still play? Will the file still play? you can look, but yes, there are batch renaming programs if you google search.. and it is not just the 42 character limit.. no special characters can be used either.. and ofc, this restriction applies to only the internal hdd Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
