FSD 3.0 and SD TV resolution

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I recently bough a xbox and i am using the FSD 3.0, and everything goes fine...

There is just one problem my TV is SD, so my screen gets 2 big bars black bars one up and another down...

so menus on FSD and subtitles on games are almoust impossible to read, and even the graphics look a bit more messy for dont be in the correct resolution =(.

anyone know how to fix the HD resolution to SD resolution ?

Upgrade to the digital word and enjoy HD.

If your going to use SD just use the xbox dashboard to load your games.

Change your launch.ini

so its like this (under default)

Default =

BUT_Y = Hdd:Freestyle Dash 3.0default.xex

so when you want to get into FSD, hold Y when you xbox loads :)

Once you did that change, reboot your xbox and it should go into the official dash.

Are your retail games "Game on Demand" format, arcade games will be on your offical dash.

On FSD, are you using Classic NXE theme rather than the new one?

Classic should be ok for you if your on an SD TV. Tho you should really, really.. upgrade :)

yeah i converted my games with iso2god

on FSD i am using the default theme, (just changed the colours and backgound in the skins edit)

about update TV i always want to change but sinze i still live my parents they say the tv is fine... sinze she looks fine i dont think she will get fucked up soon for i have a new HD TV lol

it is because that i am looking for alternatives for SD format.

i am going now change the launch.ini and try for exemple load far cry 3 from my xbox dasboard ;)

well do you have a computer monitor (LCD Flatscreen) in your room for your computer?

Get an xbox 360 SVGA cable. Welcome to HD :)

Have you the launch.ini in your HDD1, Flash or both. If its in your HDD1 put it in your flash memory :)

nah, FTP

in the url, just type in /flash/

or use dashlaunch and store to flash.

Just load dash launch, and enable disc scap then save launch.ini to HDD1/USB/Flash. :)

Problem solved.

No.

why not load dashlaunch just like xex menu. Enable disc swap, save launch.ini

thats all you can do if your unable to do anything else.
