Failed to write XGD3 with supported drive

Recommended Posts

Hello . I have a Samsung portable burner , model SE-S084B , which is on the Burnermax supported list .
So i tried a Verbatim MKM-003 disc , enabled Burnermax , burned at 3x , the writing went well but there was an error at Verify at 49 % and the disc didn't play .

I bought this SE-S084B because i remebered writing ok Dirt 3 with a similar Samsung portable . When i pop Dirt 3 in Imgburn it's showing some stats about how it was burned . The former drive was a slightly different model, Samsung SE-S084F, while mine is a B .

I also see some information about the layer break

Layer Information:
Layer 0 Sectors: 2,133,520 (50%)
Layer 1 Sectors: 2,133,504 (50%)

The Layer 1 is different that 0 , does it need to be set like that or it was the effect of " Calculate Optimal " setting ?
I remember i used a dual-power cable , does it matter when burning xgd3 ? Or i could plug  it to a USB 3.0 which has 1A  ?
