The game couldn't start, Please download again

i searched everywhere and cant seem to find an answer, only 1 out of 10 games seem to work, the games folder is on the root of an external hdd

its a xbox 360 4gb version

dont know what to do anymore, anyone had this issue or knows whats up ?

maybe its because of the kernel version? its 2.0.16202.0

This kernel is very old. This may be the reason.

Most games will play on 16202.... There werent that many games released after that. Doesnt mean I wouldnt suggest updating the kernel, but there is a chance you could just be missing the Avatar Data, or there is a corrupt block on your nand, which is causing the games to crash, but the console to run as normal. I had a similar issue once, but it effected the built in media stuff, and hud. It could also be an issue with the drive you have the games on.

       Are these games downloaded and installed by you?
       They may be corrupted. Or even the HD that may be at the end of its useful life.
