Xbox 360 RGH No DVD Drive

Hello, I want to remove the dvd drive but the blinking is annoying, I have heard if you place a jumper on the power connector it will stop the blinking. The question is if this type of jumper will work: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221600136012

Any jumper should work, but I would suggest trying the xebuild patch for this first, as all that requies is flashing a new nand image, which you can do without taking the console apart.

I have tried that but I can't find that option on xebuild gui... :/

Use advanced mode, then on xebuild settings, there is an option for nodvd.

Can't select that option, I don't know why.

You can always interact with xebuild manually, or try doing it with j-runner. Other than that, there is always the jumper method. and jumper off of an old IDE hdd will do the trick.

On the manual edit I have these:

What if I change the nodvd to True?

Set nodvd to true. build image. simple as that.
