JQE 0 Posted September 11, 2017 I will be moving the site to a new server sometime in the next few days. I am thinking likely tomorrow. When i do that i will have to shut down the server long enough to do a backup and migration. It shouldn't take long, however i wanted people to know it will go offline for a bit when i do it. The IP should stay the same, so the migration should be seamless other than the aforementioned downtime.

saywaking 289 Posted September 15, 2017 SSL Certificate is missing?
saywaking 289 Posted September 18, 2017 Ok, i found out that the Certificate is not working with https://www.realmodscene.com/ when it's ../index.php ... and has Sub Structure, it's working. I always have to add the "root" Site as Exception, so the forwarding works.

That makes no sense, the Certificate is for the "www.realmodscene.com" domain... perhaps you tried it with just "realmodscene.com"? not sure if that's covered by the setup... should be tho... Some people are paranoid, think because they have a modded xbox, that they must be hackers, or at least that is how they think the rest of the world sees it. lol. The way I see it, it is no different than having an emulator, or a an sd adapter cartridge for a retro system, or a game genie. lol.
KirovAir 6 Posted October 19, 2017 Just wanted to add: When I'm visiting http://realmodscene.com (without www.) I get an nginx page.
saywaking 289 Posted October 19, 2017 me too, at least no SSL error anymore.

There werent SSL errors, as there was no SSL to begin with, that was added with this site update. The errors were more about the server not being able to handle the amount of connections at any given time.
Chrishockey55 129 Posted October 23, 2017 @JQE seeing a screen that states the following when going to www.realmodscene.com Only way to access the site for me is to google realmodscene and click the link Welcome to nginx! If you see this page, the nginx web server is successfully installed and working. Further configuration is required. For online documentation and support please refer to nginx.org. Commercial support is available at nginx.com. Thank you for using nginx.
gavin_darkglider 1562 Posted October 23, 2017 I havnt had that problem. Maybe the server isnt redirecting you to the https instead of http. Then again, I just tried that, and it redirected me, so I couldnt tell you why you are having this issue.
saywaking 289 Posted October 23, 2017 it comes when you skip the "www." For reproduction, try clearing the cache or another Browser navigating directly to "realdmodscne.com"

My brother who is in middle school now thinks that i was going to do something in which he thinks he knows everything about.
