xbox360 jtag without dvd drive

can i take out the dvd drive in my slim !

wil it still work like normal ? dont care about the dvd drive want some extra cooling in the xbox

You can use the XeBuild and build your RGH Image with a special XeBuild command (nodvd), or you set a jumper on your Xbox 360 Motherboard

yes.

thats when you dont have a drive.

if you have already jtag/rgh you can simply take it out. the led will blink which is annoying but the console should work.

therefore you should put a jumper and create a new image with the option nodvd

The jumper should be avoided as if placed incorrectly it can cause damage to the console, the nodvd patch is much much safer

Sure, but most that go online to ask things like these questions will not have much of a clue what they're doing, and more often then not we neglect to think about that and give advice that might damage your console, even so, even if you know what you're doing it's easy to be tired and miscount the pins or whatever and connect it the wrong way and damage it regardless...
