scorpNZ 207 Posted December 12, 2015 You'll most probably have issues depending on the encoder used & the audio type. The mp4 is nothing more than a container,it's whats in that container that matters. So if you have klite installed on your pc you can if it's enabled in settings, right click on the mp4 & select mediainfo, this will allow you to compare whether its compatible or not with what the 360 supports. or go grab the stand alone version of mediainfo it comes in either .exe or portable tho personally you should have klite full installed to pc along with vlc 32 or 64bit Things you need to find out the 360 can play Max Resolution max video bitrate Audio type is it 5:1 or some other type that the 360 may not play Obviously the best thing to do is convert the mp4's to wmv. Cruise over to videohelp.com you should find tuts & free to use software
tonycrew 3 Posted December 12, 2015 Ok thanks for the info, it was just because MP4's are alot smaller in size and take less room.

It's not because it's MP4, it's because it's a different codec which compresses the audio/video data better then WMV9 does
