I use Xzp Tool 2 to open the skin and XuiTool to modify the contents.

I don't use workshop, I thought that was for editing HUD

I hope you realize you need the XDK before using the XUI Tool/editing themes.

The XDK(Xbox Development Kit) I googled and saw a actual xbox360. Can music be added on pc with software? I don't necessarily want to make my own skin from scratch, I just want to add a sound track and maybe background of my family and I(Family Pic).

The xuitool that is needed to edit the skin files is part of the XDK. Please use the search box at the top of this page and you will come across threads where this is discussed.

Music has to be converted to wav however you can add a background to Aurora without even editing the skin.
