Dvd Case Color

Does anyone know hoe to change the color of the Dvd's in the coverflow from green to any custom colour. There has to be a method, as the color of Dvd's for Kinect games are purple and other Xbox games are green...?

There's a flag in the database that will let you change it. A bit more for advanced users comfortable with editing databases, but it is possible.

 

In content.db under ContentFlags, you can change to 9 (or 5) for kinect purple case. I've made the changes to this one for games that did not show up as kinect.

 

The rest appear to be under ContentGroup and DefaultGroup and FileType, but there may be more to it. Unless you can find the correlation or someone else comes along to say what to do, I wouldn't try to change these.

 

Don't make any changes unless you back up the database first, otherwise you may lose everything.

 

As for custom colors... you're on your own there. Not sure if it's in Aurora's code or the skin's files.

Should be Aurora/Data/Databases/content.db
