The easiest solution is to use XEXMenu, Aurora of FSD from a USB drive launched by dashlaunch and copying the content using FTP or a external USB device
Hamad Shafqat 18 Posted May 27, 2015 FTP will take forever for me. I have slow internet connection. Also i dont have a big enought external hard disk. Can i connect 250GB Xbox Hard disk to computer via conneting cable, and transfer over the data. Then copy the data to 1TB harddisk. will this work? Will all games, data, dashlaunch and fsd setting be copied?

You don't FTP over the internet, you FTP using your local network connection which runs at 100mbit/s You can use a Transfer cable with Aurora to transfer all the data, using the built-in stuff only content read by the xbox 360 dashboard will be copied

When I FTP thats the fastest I can get it to transfer and only with FSD and its 12mbps total two files running at 6. Kinda why I prefer to just plug the damned thing into my topside hot-swappable SATA dock and mount it with FATxplorer.

You can extract fine using these tools, but some of them may have issues writing to the device, they're after all the product of reverse engineering and are made by homebrew enthusiasts, not a corporate company (Microsoft)
