th3sh4k4 2 Posted April 19, 2015 Hi there I think is time to give Aurora a try, but i'm a F3 user with XexMenu 1.1, (versions in the screenshot) So i'm a little confused about which download is the right one to make a clean (first time) installation of Aurora 0.4b (no updates) And, if i screw up, can the normal method via Xexmenu bring me back to my old F3? [non native english user by the way] I hope anyone can point me in the right direction
saywaking 289 Posted April 19, 2015 - Just download from here. - Copy the folder into your hdd/usb. - Make it as default in dashlaunch. - Cold Reboot. - Now you are in Aurora. - Delete fsd from file manager. - Set everything up, like language, Unity account and game paths. Done

Swizzy 2081 Posted April 19, 2015 All the versions posted in the forum are meant for clean installations, the update packages are only available by the built-in updater Essentially, if you put the aurora files (all files) in it's own folder (similar to what you normally do with games) you won't screw it up... Either way, if you boot Aurora using FSD or XEXMenu you can check that things are working before you set it as default in dashlaunch, if you want it as default(?) You can as long as you override the autoboot in dashlaunch always fix issues with FSD/Aurora using XEXMenu (the easiest way is to just put a empty launch.ini on a usb and boot with that then run XEXMenu from the Xbox 360 dashboard)
