Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 Hello guys. I tried to use the link system (actually tried to configure it), started some fie I can't remember (it was like a dashlaunch, it said the kernerl is not supported, then the XBOX crashed). I turned it up again, the FSD haven't showed up. Tried to start it up from the XEX menu. The XEX menu didnt start up aswell. So I re-installed the XEX menu. And now the FSD is still not startin up directly. In this video: I did exactly what he said. And when I run the installer, the XBOX's screen turns black and it freezes. I'm really newibe to this. Thank you. Edit: I just managed to turn the internet on. All I need is to enable pingpatch and the devil thing. I must make the dashlaunch run.. I also have the new FSD (775). saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 So what do you think if it says "kernel not supported"? What you would have to check if it says that? Let us logically solve this.
Swizzy 2084 Posted January 11, 2015 First; what kernel are you on? Second; what version of dashlaunch did you use?
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 Currently using FSD 755. The dashlaunch's version is this one: http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/4616-dashlaunch-314-17150-kernel-support-added/ Now it's not even loading. I start the installer, and the screen turns black. And I have to turn the XBOX off. Swizzy, how can I check the kernel's version in order to tell you? Where you see the FSD version in FSD you also see Kernel version... Otherwise go to NXE and find it in system information...
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 Kernel: 2.0. 16747.
Swizzy 2084 Posted January 11, 2015 That's odd, 3.14 should support that version...
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 What should I do then?
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 Check if you really run dashlaunch 3.
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 That's what I've downloaded. I didn't remove the previous dashlaunch though, I don't remember where it's located, and the new one is in a new folder.. So I guess it's not it.
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 There had to be a prompt when you run the new version for installation. It installs in a hidden partition (flashx) Maybe its a bug, that dashlaunch does not have backwards compatibility for older kernels anymore. I recommend updating your kernel anyway with xebuild gui. If its really a bug it has to be approved and then fixed. If you do an update in the official way you should not have the problem. Also paths for fsd are important. Maybe posting your launch ini or paths would also help us to solve the problem.
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 Just tell me where is this file located at and how to post it (i'm a newibe lol), and I will do it right away. I have an a USB HDD btw.
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 If you can start dashlaunch, just go right and click on deinstall after that, try reinstallation, but reboot first i already told the location above but don't do that manually, or you might get problems
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 I can't start dashlunch. When I start the installation (like in the video), I get a black screen and everything freezes.
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 Then reflash your Nand you can just do an update 1) Read your current Nand by using Nand flasher for 360 (for coronas Swizzys nand flasher 1.4b) to a USB Stick 2) Note your CPU Key with Xell (start your console with Eject button) 3) Open your nand Dump with XeBuild GUI 2.095 4) Fill in your CPU Key 5) dont include Dashlaunch, because we want to install this manually 6) Build your Nand 7) Flash the updflash.bin file with Xell (put it on your USB Stick, start with Eject) (if you have corona use Swizzys Nand Flasher) 8) start with Xex menu the new dashlaunch 3.14 and click on Install. 9) Check your Paths 10) save the ini (in this case its USB HDD i guess) 11) reboot and hope You could still provide your paths or your launch.ini file
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 Oh god. Just to notify; All this time I was trying to launch it from the XEX menu. Now tried to launch it from the file manager in the freestyle dashboard, and it's working perfectly. Thank you very much guys, especially to Swizzy, which is helping me in every thread of me haha. Another problem. I enabled pinapatch and devlink, done the test in the FSD of the system link, passed it, connected to JQ, the covers automatically downloaded, but when I push the XBOX button and I want to choose "system link" the option is blocked. While I'm in a game it's like that aswell. How do I enable it?
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 Check your account credentials. You may have to update your password because the site changed to xboxunity.net
Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 I was registerd in the new website at first. I was succesfuly logged into it in the FSD.
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 Did you try to log in again in fsd? (you have to log in again) The "grey" or "unselectable" problem always refers to the account. The Room problems refer to you data and broadcast ports. I assume your Plug in is also the newest one and loaded, otherwise it would not show up. Yarin Bar Nachum 4 Posted January 11, 2015 I'm an idiot, tried again from inside the game after choosing multiplayer and it worked. I chose a room, with like 15 players inside, chose "A" to enter, I can see the list with the names and such.. But it dosen't enter the game, it's like I have joined the room, but I'm not in the game. Why isn't it entering? And yeah, I updated the last updates of the games I'm tryin to join (COD black ops 2 and Ghosts).
saywaking 289 Posted January 11, 2015 Check your Ports. You can do the test again and look if your data and broadcast ports are passing or failing.
