it is possible to reverse the kernel update xbox 360 RGH?

Recommended Posts

example:

My kernel is 16747, it is possible I record a nand as a kernel below,

eg 16537 and apply to the game. only one doubt on my part!

Let me try and decipher what you are asking.

Do you want to run a 16537 game on a 16747 kernel?

I don't think it is possible (at least not without some modifications to the XEX).

If the game was compiled using the 16537 SDK, there isn't much chance of it running on a lower kernel.

Did you sleep in math class BL4K3Y or are you just tired today?

16537 is lower version then 16747... and... as such... the game should work as-is ;)

Thank you for pointing that out Swizzy and I apologise to the OP for my mistake.

It was just a blip, honest .

To answer your question; yes you can downgrade your kernel... but... there are certain limits... every motherboard doesn't have every version supported, the same goes for the hacks... and, if you want to do retail there's even more limitations... you have to use a version that is within certain limits depending on your fuses...
