Miki Staněk 2 Posted September 17, 2014 I do it so that you first turn on FS3 and when we go fan then you turn on Aurora.
moses_373 151 Posted September 17, 2014 Why don't you just use dashlaunch to adjust your fan speeds? That way it doesn't matter what you boot to first.
Milspex 15 Posted September 17, 2014 I even removed the crappy 12v fan mod someone did for me, and just set target temps in dashlaunch to 60. No problems ever since and a lot less noise.
megablitox 7 Posted September 17, 2014 Always with the same problem, just modify FANs Configuration from Dashlaunch and ready. Lately people are paranoid about this topic. Atte. MegaBlitoX

MegaBlitoX And the best option is to do what milspex did, modify target temps rather then setting static fan speed

spazzy 1 Posted October 17, 2014 Not directly related but FWIW if you ever notice your temps getting much higher than normal (my Jasper went to 80+ on idle all of a sudden one day..) you may want to look into re-seating your heatsink.
jkiper 0 Posted October 17, 2014 Talking about temperature, and noise, I've noticed (lol) that most of the noise is coming from the power source device, not from the xbox... Anyone knows with which fan, a more silent one, could be replaced the one that came with the power source device? Thanks

Thanks The PSU fan is special... you cannot replace it... if it makes more noise then your console, i'd call microsoft and have them replace it for you... the fan is probably about to die...
