Problem|BF4 HD content

Recommended Posts

I was able to play BF4 without HDD with this TUT

http://www.xbox360iso.com/battlefiel...t-t722531.html

But when I started the game it asked me to install HD content

So I said: Ok if the game works lets just take the HD Content from disc 1

So I founded in disc 1 the content and transferd it with Horizon

But when I start the game it still asks me for installing the HD contentPosted Image

Have you tried raising the issue with that site? That person and those who use that method seem to want to do it differently from the normal way.

just install the HD content into the DLC folder...?

Do it the normal way :)

HD content into the DLC in the official partition/path

You need HDD no?

You can partition upto 32gb of your usb for xbox 360 (official path)

then bang all your DLC on it, and future DLC of the game and future games + TU's

If you don't have it partitioned already, then where do all your TU's go?

When I download TU via FSD i choose ''OnBoardMU''

sounds like you dont have enough space for the HD content (your console will still go through the motions as if installing the content but wont tell you if there is not enough room for it hence the fail to play)

I'd stay away from loading stuff onto the "MU" if I was you, it's flash memory..... grab your self a drive of some sort for FSD and TU's etc.

Just partition 32gb of your usb drive via the system storage, then you can copy tus, dlc, mandatory installs to it via Horizon (Drag and Drop)

Backup your stuff first tho, it shouldn't affect any data on your hard drive but stay safe :)

But I'd do what datastream said, get an internal HDD, + side, they're much faster than USB

just writing stuff to the internal memory which I think shares the nand on some boards is also risky...heading for corruption and then your goofed.

nand is separate :)

On a slim its a little detachable board (shown below), but not all slims have the slot for it.

Some older phat consoles shared it with the nand. So Read/Writes will eventually over time kill it tho they only give like 128/256mb memory for "Saved Games" :)
