Have you extracted disc 1 and put the Content folder in HDD1?

 

Disc 1 is the installation disc and disc 2 is the game.

Disc 1 is the GTA world... if you don't install it, you'll enjoy the "loading..." screen for all of eternity

i did like this , Extracted disc 1 ( install disc ) with exiso gui , Transfered to  hdd1 with 360 content manager , Then extracted disc 2 with exiso gui to usb stick.

im open for solutions  ! can the issue been this ? I extracted disc 1 , But i put ALL files in content , Shouldnt i just put the content folder that was in disc 1 ? 4 files ? ?

1. The contents of each dvd are this:DVD1 = Mandatory content Installation. You need this dvd to play the gameDVD2 = Single player + GTA OnlineWhich means the first dvd is just a normal DLC/additional installation and not an actual game.2. Setup each DVD like this.DVD1:This DVD has to be installed on your console's internal HDD or a USB drive which was formatted using your console. The size of the USB drive should be enough for the entire disc. i have done all the correct steps required , dash,kernel,dashlaunch all upto date but still can get this to work . all i get is "an online profile is required" any ideas guys ?

Enable 'autofake' or 'fakelive' in dashlaunch or launch.ini file

the game just resets when i try to take a mission with Trevor i cant do anything...is anyone got this

jasper console with a 750gb hdd. Yes past the loading screens after installing as per mophead's post and using fakelive.

first mission runs great.  but the 2nd mission where you start playing franklin has really bad texture popping / loading making it nearly unplayable.  has anyone else experienced this?

I extracted both isos copied the cd 1 content folder on an xbox formatted external hd and copied cd 2 to the games folder which already has many games in it. The games starts up but doesnt load. Dont get where i wenr wrong?

Now copying the content files to the internal hard drive to see if that works. But ill run disc 2 from the external hard drive.

seems my hdd is too full or needs a defrag.  tried a different hdd and it doesn't have the texture loading issue.

sorted it - re extracted disk 1 ,it was 1mb short last time

Used xbox image browser  with disc 1 & 2 then took folder 545408A7 from disc 1 and put that in the content/0000000000000000 folder of xbox HDD and put disc 2 straight onto my USB drive and all works a treat

Thanks to marco hollanders advice I finally got mine working. I dont have an internal hdd. So I got a 16gb flash drive and put content folder from disc 1 in the MU part of the memory stick, via flashxp, but make sure to customise memory stick first to allocate enough room for content folder.

I have xbox 360 with JTAG. And I taking game's files from my computer, using connectX plugin for Freestyle.

My current problem is that I haven't HDD in my XBOX, and files that xbox needed to start are placed on USB flash drive and on those drive I have launch.ini with those lines:

[QuickLaunchButtons]

Default = usb:FreeStyledefault.xex

 

So on second USB drive I placed Freestyle's files, from this thread. It has FAT32 File System, without any preparation on xbox.

 

Everything was fine until I tried to play in GTA V. There I need to place 1DVD to inner memory, so I should prepare ( format) this flash drive in xbox and put files there through Horizon program, but XBOX can read only 2 flash drives in 1 time, so if 'll get flash drive with Freestyle I'll lost posibility to read second DVD from computer over FTP, on the other hand if 'll get flash drive with GTA V I'll lost posibility to read first DVD ).

 

So, how to put Freestyle and GTA V first DVD on the same flash-drive ? After preparation flash drive became full if you'll see it from computer. Maybe there are posibility to move freestyle through Horizon or something like this program? Thank you in advice!

nope it doesn't work that way... I think Wat GTA has done is to not u play the game in god mode so do not use iso2god for ur extraction but rather use Xbox360 Iso Extract. wen it's done u we'd get the same content as posted above then follow the procedure above and it might work. I am currently extracting using xbox360 Iso Extract and will post if the above method works. Hooe u get it now.

Perfect solution and it worked for me without enabling fakelive....just follow the tutorial and do not use iso2god for the GTA V disc 1 instead use xbox360 iso extract ....
