Swizzy 2083 Posted March 10, 2014 Very amazing!!! but.. it's 100% safely? i want to try my first update by my self..!! any Warning? Read what it says and don't grab the files from unknown sites, if you're not sure about something... ask before you proceed... Nothing is 100% safe, there's always a way to f*ck things up, we've worked alot with these things to make it as safe as we can, but there may still be bugs in the code causing all kinds of problems which we still haven't seen/found

You must use xeBuild 1.12 for the 16747 avatar data to be installed, there are more files now then before, in new folders which it didn't create previously... it was fixed in 1.12 (recently released)

You need to add that on your own, download it from somewhere that you can trust like homebrew-connection.org if all were to be included the package would be several gigs in size...Besides, these files are easy to get hold of... bobmatta 0 Posted April 16, 2014 Hi there! I have a Corona (dash 16202) and I've never updated it on my own. I've read the tutorial and the comments, but I still have a few (noobish) questions: 1) I've read on page 5 or so about some issues on updating Corona via this method. Does it work now, or should I update following Swizzy's tutorial?2) Can I update directly to 16747 or 16202 is already too old for that?3) Is there any extra precaution I should take with the new XeBuild and DashLauncher, or just following these steps works fine? 4) "When it is done the console will reboot and you will be in the updated stock dashboard once the console loads up." - So it doesn't boot on the old F3 for automatic update, and I have to put F3 Rev 775 via USB stick, right? Thanks in advance!
JPizzle 0 Posted April 16, 2014 1) To the best of my knowledge there is no issue with Corona's anymore, tat issue has been resolved. 2) You can update directly to the latest dashboard 3) just follow the tutorial but be sure to use the latest files 4) You just need to install dashlaunch and then it will auto boot in F3 5) Enjoy

JPizzle 0 Posted April 19, 2014 one question, my xbox needs to be connected to my computer on LAN cable or to the net itself?Needs to be connected to the same network as your computer, so if they are both connected to the same router you're good.
