How to write downloaded games to usb HDD - Xbox360

Recommended Posts

You can drag and drop files/folders on to your HDD, just like you would do with any other files/folders.

You can have your games in two formats - JTAG Rips or GOD (I always GOD my games using ISO2GOD).

please be more informative on what your using for example next time...

1. you might want to try convert your game with iso2god software

2. software will convert with probably strange first looking output with numbers : it will create for example folder named 4E4D085B inside of it will be all files of converted game

3. if your external hdd is not formated to fat 32 yet do it, after that make folder name it xbox360 for example inside your hdd.

4. to transfer game to your external hdd is quite few ways, but fastest would be just pluging it to your PC and copy paste folder 4E4D085B inside xbox360 folder.

5. when you do that : plug it in to your xbox, go to FSD settings > content > game path    make game path all the way to your xbox360 folder and set it, make scan depth 2, tick xbox360 games retail and dev and save your settings.

6. double check what you made then fsd settings > content > scan (dont forget to set cover downloading options, each time you set new path)

7. once its done go to xbox360 game library and start playing.

8. if you was talking about internal hdd (the original hdd of xbox) try using for example : flashfxp (FTP), or set yourself samba, or you can copy converted folder to your usb and copy it through filemanager to your xbox.

ps. there is quite tons of guides about this so try looking first :) good luck.
