How do I re-mount a drive after a crash?

Recommended Posts

Every so often a game will crash. Usually a reboot fixes it, but occasionally after the console reboots the game I was playing will be greyed out. This usually means that the partition it was on didn't mount. If the partition is on a USB drive that can be fixed by changing USB ports, but if it's an internal drive the fix has always been to unplug the console overnight and then in the morning it will usually work.

This time, however, it didn't. I'm I'm not sure how else to get the drive to mount. It just shows up as not available.

Is there a tool to recheck drives or manually mount the partition? And how do I prevent this from occurring in the future?
