misfitdemon666 0 Posted September 13, 2021 First time posting so apologies if I say something incorrectly. I have recently purchased an trinity rgh and have had a falcon rgh for about a decade. I have never had issues with getting the falcon to get a valid ip or anything like that but since I have purchased the trinity i have had issues with getting a valid ip and connecting to unity or pretty much anything that requires an internet connection. I have contacted my isp because the trinity is getting a 169 ip address and the router that they provided is a smart router so there is no way to log into it to port forward or anything. I went into dashlaunch and mirrored my settings in the trinity to what is being used on my falcon and still no change. It will not connect using wifi or wired connection. I really appreciate anyone that can help to get this corrected.

StelioKontos 27 Posted September 14, 2021 What he said ^. If you copied all the fields same as other console, it won't work unless you're going for having a static IP, in which case the Xbox up would need to be different. Set to default network settings, back out to main network settings screen, choose the option to disconnect and rescan. Then reboot console, go to network settings, and select your router. Reboot again, and see if it connects. If not, I include photos of network settings in your post. Note that I'm referring to the network settings from the normal Xbox dashboard for everything above.
