  1. It's been a couple of years since I last used my machine. Just got it out again now, and it still works. I co-opted the USB HDD that I used to run games from a while back. It still runs my old burned DVDs, and I assume it would work with the USB HDD if I got it formatted right and got the games installed onto it correctly again. I've forgotten most of what I knew about getting games onto the USB HDD though. I remember using xbox image browser to extract them from iso files, and then using some other program to create little files that needed to be transferred to the 360's HDD with XeX so the games could be launched from the My Games menu on the dash. Given that it's been a couple of years, I figure I probably need to update my kernel and dashboard to new versions if I want to run the latest games. Is that right? I'm a bit sketchy on the details of my RGH mod. It was done for me by someone else, so I've never really been exposed to all the technical details of it. I'll fill out the support template as best I can, and maybe someone can walk me through the process of figuring out any further information we need, and direct me to some instructions on how to update if needed, and refresh me on how best to get games running from my USB HDD. Glitch/Nand Reader Product(s) used: Don't know. Coolrunner sounds familiar? Console Type: Jasper. NAND size: Don't know. Dashboard version: System Information says 2.0.14699.0 CB version: Don't know. Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner/Xebuild GUI: Don't know how to use those tools. J-Runner/Xebuild Gui log: Don't know how to use those tools. updflash.bin log (if applicable): Don't know how to use those tools. Image of Glitch Chip:I'm attaching photos I took in December 2011 just after the mod was done. I think it's shown in some of them. Images of close-up soldering to motherboard: I'm attaching photos I took in December 2011 just after the mod was done. Description of problem: I don't know how to update it to latest kernel and dash, and need reminding of how to best run games from USB HDD. Was the console working before you started: Y Do you get a green debug light appear on the RGH chip every 4-5 seconds: Don't know. Probably not relevant. How long is the light on for each time: Don't know.
