Hello, I bought a RGH (Slim). I was playing it, it was ok, I wanted to update it to 17559 to work with xbNetwork and others. I used Simple 360 NAND Flasher 1.2 to make the backup and I came across 6 bad blocks (But I updated it anyway with an app called AutoGG, updated the nand and joined freestyle, when I went to the xbox settings it gave a red light (but it works and xell appears normally), how do I reverse or at least remove these bad blocks? I used the J-Runner to see what they were. Help me please :D Motherboard: Corona Nand Size: 16MB

A week ago my modded xbox 360 slim's nand got corrupted. And when i turn it on, the power button becomes red, and i get an E79 error. Fortunately Xell reloaded works. The bad thing is i dont have a nand programmer, and whats worse is i dont have my nand for the console, so i need to create one in J-runner. So now i opened up my xbox, to know what kind of rgh chip i have, and to solder a nand programmer chip into the motherboard later. Well, i have this kind of RGH chip in my xbox: And if you ask why i dont opened up my xbox yet is because i just bought this in used condition. And as i said, i dont have a nand programmer chip, so i need to buy one. Its going to be a bit difficult to find one. And by the way, i have an Corona (4gb) motherboard in my xbox. If you have some tips or ideas for the fixing, then just reply.

can i got some help? :") on XellBuild after enter all the details on Requires FCRT.bin it says True in red letters, after a little look online i got the idea that i should tick the option Disable FCRT.bin check to avoid causing problems to the dvd drive after building the update to the nand. so my question is why it says True and should i disable the FCRT.bin check? since it look like my drive require it. also how could i avoid causing problem to the DVD drive?

Someone has made my Xbox360 Slim RGH 2.0 and it worked for a while BUT when i made some changes: turn off content controls in NXE or change the threshold temps in Dashlaunch, My Xbox360 has going mad! When i turn my Xbox360 on the fan spins at 100% for a few seconds and i sometimes get the E79,E71,E72 Error message. It looks like it writes something to the nand when i change a setting and my nand gets corrupt. When i flashed my nand again with Xell it gives me a lot bad blocks (a whole list) and now it even won't boot at all (also Xell won't work) The guy who Glitched my Xbox360 has fixed this already a few times but i want to know the reason for this problem so i can do something about it. Can someone help me with this? because it really frustrates me this happens to me every time.....

I have phat Jasper 256mb console running RGH1 with Matrix Glitcher Modchip. All running fine without any problems. Console was originally modded by a 3rd party.When dumping the samaller System only NAND I get 2 bad blocks.I have dumped the Nand with both Simple NAND Flasher 1.2 and Xell via FTP. Both times I get the exact same 2 bad blocks.SFCX: Bad block found at 00000180block 0x180 seems bad, status 0x00000350SFCX: Bad block found at 000001C6block 0x1c6 seems bad, status 0x00000350 I then used Swizzy's xeBuild GUI version 2.091 with xeBuild for kernel 16547 update to Gernerat the hacked NAND image After checking both the original dumped and xeBuild updated NAND. 360 Flash Dump Tool its showing the following:Note: Bad Block ID 0x0180 [Offset: 0x03180000]Note: Bad Block ID 0x01C6 [Offset: 0x03A86000]-> Block ID 0x01C6 found @ 0x1FE [Offset: 0x041BE000]-> Block ID 0x0180 found @ 0x1FF [Offset: 0x041DF000] Am I correct that the bad blocks were already remapped by the orignal modder or when backing up the NAND If I'm getting the same result for both the original and updated NAND? Would I be safe to update with new NAND? xeBuild GUI version 2.091 LOG shows no error messages. ** Tutorial written by brownienz, all credit goes to him ** Ok so just putting this together after a recent Accident That Landed me with a xbox that booted to the Logo and Or Xell with no means of flashing the nand Since I no longer had Xellous and dont have a lpt cable or any of that jazz and xell wouldnt update to xellous off usb and without a booting xbox I was unable to load up flash360 I was stuck So I thort this might help someone I dont think there is anything on here that covers this so here goes. This will help you if you have xell and your xbox wont boot anything but xell After a bad flash and you have no way to flash your nand Saved my ass What you will need is * Debian5.0 MiniLiveCD Free60 Get it HERE * A blank Cd * Image Burn or another program to burn the Debain iso With * Putty.exe Get it HERE Download the .exe file * WinSCP Get it HERE * A modem or router * A working Copy of your Nand If its a original You should Build A freeboot image From your original And use that.(There more than Enuff info on here about how to do that So I wont get in to it) First thing you want to do is Burn the debain live Cd to a Blank Cd I stress Cd not a dvd When you have the Debain Cd burnt Connect your xbox and computer to the modem or router Then You can start your Xbox Up to boot xell With the Eject button. As soon as xell boots close the disk try with the Debain disk in the drive And wait for it to load It will Take a few mins To load A Screen With "Free360 Debain lenny live Cd" Along the top When you have this screen Take Note of the Ip address at the top as you will need it in the next steps Leave you xbox there at the moment and move to the PC . Now you want to start up putty.exe and type in the IP address From your xbox where it says host-name Click open and a black box appears. Login as root/xbox360 and the password is xbox360 (Note when you type the password it might not show on screen) When done, press enter, now the screen that is on your jtag should appear in the black screen on putty. Leave putty open. Next you want to Start up WinSCP and type your IP adress again into the host name box type in root into the username box and xbox360 into the password box. Change the file protocol to FTP and The port to 21 then click login. Another screen will pop up With your computer on the left and /<root> on the right Open the IMAGES folder and drag your working Nand image named freeboot.bin in to the Images folder When Prompted with a box click copy. When its finished its on to the final step Leave WinSCP Open. Now go back to The putty Window And as long as your screen on putty is the same as the screen on your xbox You can move on and flash NOW Make sure you get this right. Check what you type is correct before you press enter!!!! In the command line on putty type xbrflash -w freeboot.bin and when you are sure it is correct press enter It should start flashing when its done turn the xbox off and unplug the power cable from the back of the xbox Leave it for around 30 seconds and Start up your xbox All going well You should be back to a working booting dash Hope this Helps someone and sorry if its Hard to understand Ill try Thin It out When I get the chance And put some pics up Cheers

The XeBuild team has released an update to their Xbox360 nand builder, XeBuild 1.04. Along with some minor bug fixed they have also added support for the Corona motherboard. There is no need to update your current nand images as the fixes are minor. xeBuild_1.04.zip 15574.zip
