  1. Random comment- I haven't powered on my 360 in quite a while but recently stopped to help out a friend who I'd previously helped set up FSD. It was like a trip down memory lane, nostalgia washed over me. So many great memories! So today I installed Aurora. The fact you're still working on projects for the 360, a console loved ridiculously, is just fantastic. Tonight I raise a beer to you dear devs, one I share virtually, and thank you for all your work- and play the shit out of this console.
  2. Wow, I just updated two systems in just ten minutes and where in the past it has always been a bit of a nail biter, this could not have been easier. Thanks for the tut!
  3. This is the only bug I've encountered so far and (assuming it is a bug), as far as functionality goes, it isn't particularly intrusive. If you switch to the default skin or use a 775 skin so as to be able to get the TU download features, things seem to be working just fine. Are there 'bugs' other than these?
  4. So that is the default? I don't remember seeing that before.... Is it that I am extremely non-observant (I did check on my second XBox before upgrading, it was not there)? Or that in the update something was enabled that I did not use before? EDIT: The bar *is* a new thing (should bother to watch the demo video first). Therefore the only issue is the 'Invalid Execution ID'
  5. If I go into NXE and then back into FSD3 the bottom border in the guide gives me a 'Invalid Execution ID' while in NXE it gives Xbox Dashboard and the dash kernel info. I have two Xboxes, default skin, both updated, both with this error. What is that and how do I fix it?
  6. Great! Thanks for the work! Looking forward to trying it out. Will there be a release thread in the forums for update issues?
  7. That certainly resolves the issue, thank you. I wonder, however, where these files are stored and if there are text configuration files for these settings. Edit: Now that I've explored it, I didn't know there were so many more settings available from the web interface. Thanks for the tip!
  8. Ah, FBANext doesn't have a ini until it's first launch, at which point it is generated under config. In FBANext.ini there a bunch of 'szAppRomPaths' settings available for rom paths. I haven't tested yet, but I believe this is the setting I'm looking for. Next, SNES360. I believe Retroarch has a means of configuring the rom path in the application.
  9. I'm experimenting with a couple of emulators, namely FBANext, SNES360, and RetroArch and would like to save space and time by having them share roms (where applicable). Where, in each of these applications, can I set custom rom paths? Thanks.
  10. I would like to manually set certain covers in FSD 3, if possible. For example, I'm testing out FBANext and the customized version by MagicSeb and I'd like to have two different covers. Or RetroArch and XM360, which do not have covers automatically downloaded. XM360 comes with a cover that I'd just like to drop into the install, wherever it might go. Any ideas? And what are cover image requirements?
  11. I've just recently started using file manager and SMB, which is a great way to manage my local and remote game backups. What I have discovered, however, is that occasionally SMB file copies will fail and result in some sort of lock up so that no other copy can occur. The entire SMB browsing is broken and cannot be re-established until the entire system is rebooted. The interesting part is that this is not limited to just SMB file updates but includes TU downloading, which won't even start. I haven't tried any other network based tests. So far some directories will trigger the lock up each time (in this case, UltimateMarvelVSCapcom, a directory with 10393 files, which seems high and may be part of the problem), but I haven't done much experimenting nor have I been using FSD 3 for long. I am willing to participate in troubleshooting this issue. Is there a log that I can examine, for example? I am on the V735 build on an Valhalla using a 1T WD10JPVT, which I just installed.
  12. What does "no section" mean? Please elaborate.
  13. So, its been a while since I returned to using my RHG and FSD and I just updated, so bare with me. And the new FSD looks incredible and is definitely faster than its FSD 2.x counterpart. Thanks! I never use the NXE dashboard if I can help it, so, this only pertains to FSD. My past experience was that FSD supports mutidisc simply by dropping each disk into a folder like <GAME>/Disc 1 | Disc 2, which is easy. I'm assuming this is still the case, out of the box? If not, please correct me. If so, then my only question is if there is a way to get only one cover to show up in the game menu? As is every game I have that has more than one disc also has one cover to match each. Clearly on some level FSD recognizes it is one game as TU show up as already downloaded and configured if I update one and not the other. But a cleaner game menu would be nice. Thanks in advance. *EDIT* Heh. Your welcome with new user names in the banner is definitely... surprising.
