  1. You need xuitool and edit the xur file (forgot which one). You would add a soundclip - which you would link the file. Sound file has to be either XMA or WAV, mp3 not allowed.
  2. Hitting homeruns begal!!! Very nice job. I would be interested in more backgrounds if you ever release it.
  3. THanks to the entire team here! If it weren't for you guys, I would never have made my collection of themes for FSD!!! (I'm planning to make an Aurora theme sometime in near future). Also thanks to you too begal!I loved your fsd themes and the dashlaunch themes too!
  4. Thanks for the helpful video! Will help those grasp the basics!
  5. Nice job! Nice to see more skinners out now for Aurora!
  6. I was able to add wav sound files to fsd3 themes by adding sound clip into xui file. Im assuming the same can be done for aurora by editing xui files. Adjust volumes of sounds with audio editors.
  7. looks familiar! lol btw your link is for your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles file.
  8. in options, you need to CLEAR your skin settings. Then reboot FSD. Also, did you unRAR it, and PLACED it into skins folder located in the fsd root folder??
  9. Very nice job! I'm trying to create one but failing bad!
  10. Glad you got it working. What was the problem?
  11. no. The image must be 1280x720. Thats all. When u load a new skin, always ALWAYS be sure to reset skin settings in general options.
  12. It should'nt matter. Just make sure you are saving the same format. Ie. Save as PNG.
  13. Download the file attached. Unrar it, and put it in your theme root folder (overrite if asked). The files in this rar: SPLASH.PNG and SPLASHSCREEN.XUR files. I edited the xur file to link it to the SPLASH.PNG file. So all you have to do now is find whatever 1280x720 picture / logo or whatever you want and save it as SPLASH.PNG. Once done, rebuild the theme, pop it in, select it then reboot. Should work fine. Files.rar
  14. Also remember that It needs to be rebuilt as VERSION 1 option (not 3)
  15. Use PAINT.NET or PHOTOSHOP for pic editing. It gives you the option to size changing. Or you can download a program called Faststone Photo Resizer to multiple and fast pic resizing. Mod the SPLASH.DDS file to your liking - the only issue is it needs to be specific dds (not sure) I did the next option OR create a PNG/JPG (place it in fsd root) and adjust the filename in the SplashScreen.xur
  16. Just download the skin, unrar with password, then transfer the file to your FSD/skin folder. Load and enjoy!
