    I dont know if this works but in theory it sounds like it does. You Make the harddrive you want to put in the xbox fat ( as it would be anyways ) Put the harddrive into a cabinett, And copy it straight over connected through usb in the xbox . Try

    Maybe some " data " is left in the path & folder ?? If thats the case, Look up what ID it has and manually delete it .. That should solve ur issue.
