  1. It's stated to be the future of LiNK. Remember... future, expect it in the future then. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Hey, you are right, i really don't know much about this networking stuff, and i was just pointing out the final result which we get connected and play games (tried to fix the post about sending buttons. Lol)... Well i have got some questions if you can help me with, i use my pc and create a hotspot to get my xbox connected, since you do these stuff for living, i guess you might be able to teach me how to create a vpn (or what ever you prefer i do) so i get LiNK work up... Cause i dont have a router and obviously i get the port verification failed. And no matter how much i tried to add port exceptions in windows firewall inbound and outbound rules, obviously it didnt work cause i must have touched the wrong place.
  3. Which in some cases it won't work even when active. Lol
  4. Uhh i see, so thats why we mostly have to do port forwarding? Which is a manual way... So we don't have to have UPnP enabled router. Bingo that cleared up a lot. Tnx.
  5. Well, if not technically, i can assume that it works exactly the way System link works on xbox, plus some new features. When playing in system link, we create an ad-hoc, all xboxes join that network and they can find each other and link up... What LiNK does, i assume is that it makes it possible for xboxes to find each other from long distance, using UPnP service (dont know if it is a service or what [emoji16]) allowing them to connect to each other, typically LiNK is creating a virtual ad-hoc environment just like if you did as i said at beginning. Chatting and other things are a bonus. [emoji6]
  6. Tnx for the quick answers. 10Mbit/s.... [emoji17]
  7. Can you tell me the minimum connection speed I need for LiNK? And do i have to purchase a router too? Hmmm connection like dsl will do? Sorry for too many questions but i love this LiNK thing. [emoji13]
  8. Hey everyone, i don't wanna sound like an idiot or maybe i would sound like one but anyways: i don't have a router and I'm on a 3G connection using either USB modem or mobile tethering, and i get my xbox connected using ad-hoc internet sharing through my laptop to get the covers, title updates and other dashboard updates... When i verify LiNK connection it fail on three things of course, UPnP enabled router not found, and two ports fail. My question is that is there any possible way to get connected to LiNK without a router? And one of my friends mentioned something about wireless hotspot he got, are such devices capable of port forwarding and UPnP? Any type of help, advice and info are appreciated.
  9. You don't have to give yourself headache. Simply open dashlaunch and set your ceiling temperature. Let the system manage the heating issues and enjoy playing and you wont have to manage fan speed from dashboard to dashboard. If you don't have dashlaunch or don't know how to use it, there are plenty videos on youtube...
  10. Recently I found out that most of the customization in quick view is for a specified gamer profile... Like when I hidden the backup games on my profile signed in, then I signed in with my brother's profile, all the hidden files were shown and I had to hide them again for him... This can be pain in the ***, since there is almost 6~7 profiles on my xbox, hiding 28 backup games data for each 7 profiles...
  11. Hey guys, nice work out there. I was just reporting that when I add the filter "Hide backups", it does not hide the backup files which exists in 00007000\backup, or maybe I misunderstood the filter, although "hide multidisc" works perfect. if this filter is meant to hide those backup files in the mentioned path from dashboard to prevent duplicate game covers then it might be having a bug or I don't know how to apply it... thanks a lot guys... nice job
  12. I freshly installed Aurora... 360 content manager provides a feature which uploads everything in the correct path and unlock DLCs too... Filezila does not provide such thing. is there any chance that Aurora gets SMB in future or, is 360 content manager going to be updated?
  13. Can someone please give me an estimate on how much bandwidth would LiNK use per hour? and minimum bandwidth speed per second is required? I am new to this LiNK thing and of course would like to experience it... Cause I am on metered connection and don't wanna risk burning high amount of data on it... Although I know about xbox live's usage and requirement... But no one and no site has shared any info about LiNK or at least I couldn't find it, I thought it might be different because LiNK uses system link to get online... Thanks in advance for your help and hope someone shows up with help...
