    you have to use xutiool to create the element.. you cant just take a skin that does NOT have it built in, and add it to it..

    this requires the XDK. xzptool is ALSO not recommended either.. so yeah, you did not follow the directions.

    Ok I have solved the main part of this myself. I had changed my Network settings manually to enable FTP from my laptop via Ethernet wired connection. When I switched back to wifi to access the web, I didn’t realise that the manual settings would stay in place. Thought they were exclusive to the wired connection. Once I set them back on Automatic the magic happened and I got cover art. 
     

    Still not sure about the Settings menu not having a Unity tab? But maybe the API Key works instead of a login?? Appreciate any enlightenment here. 

    it would be in the modules tab.. in the settings..

    you request your API key, which will prompt you to enter your password.

    No.. it is dlc.. free or not.. 0 legit dlc..

    Now if you make custom dlc such as skyrim or rockband.. that technically would be ok.. as it is custom

    Now what you use it for is on the end user.. and ofc using xbl servers will always be superior.. unity is community driven.. not supported by xbl at all

    Which is of course an issue when you got TUs with matching file names e.g. tu00000002_00000000 is quite common.

    Once I start a game then hit the Guide button on the controller, the bottom right corner will state TU:0 meaning Aurora has failed to apply the update.
    Updates only get applied if either downloaded through Aurora from xboxunity, or in case of manual TUs if the files are named correctly. But there is no way to determine the correct name in some cases!
    To give you another example, the TU for Gears of War 3 will not work if under \Content\, it needs to go under \Cache\. And even if it's under the \Cache\ folder, any file name other than TU_16L625B_000001C000000.00000000001GB means that Aurora will fail to apply it. Even a deviation of a single character makes a difference. It's crazy!

    Seems to be a known issue (see here) but no support is available ☹️ Maybe if/when xboxunity goes down more people will start asking this question.

    At any rate I didn't mean to hijack your post. Apologies.

    The title update goes by media id.. just because you have a game doesn't mean the tu you have is the correct one.. Aurora via unity will scan everything to make sure it matches.. your conclusion is also wrong about determining the correct name.. use 360 content manager on pc, it will tell you the correct name and install location, as it reads from within the container.. the default.xexp inside.

    As for the filename being wrong, yes, because the xbox is looking for a specific filename.. so any deviation will result in error. 

    There is no checksum verify if something wasn't transferred properly.. do not use wifi to download or ftp.. wired or thumbdrive is needed.. if the tu is corrupt it will show but not apply because it isnt correct.

    For some reason Aurora doesn't recognise these TUs. When using the file manager, it tells me what games these are for but it's impossible to apply them.
    E.g. if I take a correctly named TU like TU_1A5222V_0000008000000.0000000000082 and put it under the \Cache\ folder, after a TU scan it gets picked up by Aurora, I can enable it and it'll be applied and correctly show up ingame 👍
    If however the file is called something like tu00000002_00000000 it won't get applied. A good example for this is Minecraft where the latest TU is #75 which can't be acquired through xboxunity.
    It doesn't matter where this file is copied (Cache folder or \Content\584111F7\000B0000), Aurora will state it has applied the TU but when you press the Guide button Minecraft is still on vanilla and all the features from the update are missing 👎


    Another test I've done was to take a working TU, rename it to tu00000002_00000000, refresh, and although Aurora will still see and apply the update, when you press the Guide button the TU version will be 0 and the features won't be there either. So it's definitely the filename that's the problem.

    No.. you are completely wrong.  There are 2 types of title updates.. the TU_xxxx files do go into the cache of the hdd.

    The tu00000002_000000 go into the content folder like dlc.. you can take the tu, load it into 360 content manager on PC, and tell if the file name is correct or not mate.. 

     

    100% your tu is corrupt. Now, there is a file size limit on unity.. which is why the latest tu isnt on there for minecraft.. there is also no checksum verification if the tu was corrupt or incomplete.. 

    The last tu for minecraft is tu 78.. or 79.. the bedrock edition version. And is in this site.. I've put the link up here personally.. but you are misinformed about the tu process..

    That wouldn't cause the trainers to not work.. the plugin is only for link.. you tried updating while the plugin was active.. you need to use something else besides Aurora, like xexmenu, and manually replace the plugin from a fresh download

    For me, I created a new quick view. You cannot modify the show all with filters, but either edit one of the other available default settings, or create a new. I did this to hide multi-discs.

    1: Press B and went to Quick View

    2:Go to Add

    3: Name it whatever you want and change icon if desired

    4: Go to filter and select Add, then press R to get to filters.

    5: Go to user folder and select hid MultiDisc

    6: Make any other changes and select Save

    7: Go to "modify List" and select your new configuration as default.  

    it does not save for the "current session" but for the current profile..

    if you saved a setup to a profile, even not one, it will change when you sign out/sign in..

    if you look on swizzys github, where you find the source for 360 nand flasher, you will find the retroarch source... loads of file selection there

    dont over complicate things.. you can easily split up your games folder into something like "A-L" "K-P" "R-Z"

    each folder has a limit inside them, yes.. but if you split those folders, you bypass this limitation..

    there is a character limitation on the xbox mate.. 42 in length, and no special chars

    Can't seem to find any mention of anything regarding this game on the web, I installed splinter cell black list to my RGH hdd perfectly fine by converting both disc 1 & 2 to god then creating a file structure with separate disc folders and finally extracting the HD content to the folder with 16 zero's, so i'm just wondering if this method will work with GRAW2 legacy edition also, as GRAW2 doesn't have HD content, it has the base game on disc 1 and extra dlc on disk 2 so i'm thinking i can obviously skip the content step and convert both discs to god then set up the separate disc folders like i did with splinter cell and all should work?

    Or what is the best way to set up GRAW 2 Legacy edition to your knowledge? 

    Nope.. you cant convert an install disc to god format.. you should read some guides people have put up on multi disc games and follow.. i know it works.. as ive made graw trainers 😉

    Nova is in lay terms, a rewrite of the freestyle plugin.. 

    Lua isnt "fully" supported.. 

    Check the release page for info on tutorial info

    Obviously files can be downloaded via aurora.. as title updates and covers are done this way..

    They are using code to dev aurora 😉

    Maybe that's the same reason why Aurora remove connect "ConnectX" feature.

    the trainers show up under the game options mate.. when you press Y in coverflow.. you have to enable it
