  1. I believe XELL will look for updflash.bin on a Fat32 usb. So if you can see your cpukey, using jrunner make a new nand and place it on the root of your usb. If your console is connected to the network it'll display an IP address and Xell can update directly from that. Where it looks on your network I don't know

  3. disk1 = Hdd:\games\somegame\disk1\default.xex; disk2 = USB:\games\somegame\disk2\default.xex; I'm assuming he means removable media, different harddrive or usb.
  4. then it seems like youve got two copies of aurora on your xbox. One folder being on the root of the hdd, and one being in the content folder. And it seems like youre running the Aurora from the latter. Check your dashlaunch settings to see what Aurora is being loaded Example of what the file path would look like in dashlaunch Hdd:\Aurora\Aurora.xex Hdd:\Content\Aurora\Aurora.xex
  5. unlikely to work. the content folder is used by the xbox os to store data. Aurora will only look for trainers in this file path "Aurora/users/trainers/(titleid)/trainer.xex" If the titleid/mediaid match the game it'll appear on the trainer list for that game. the only time you would place trainers in that folder is they are standalone. They will be required to be placed in the game folder for the corresponding game. These trainers will be activated by loading the trainer.xex from that folder.

  7. 1. No you can delete it, there's no need for you to keep that profile what so ever. 2. Yes, they go into Aurora/User/Backgrounds. As what format/size I don't know. 3.It'll load Aurora if it's set to. I think there is a way to load the console and skipping the DashLaunch settings but I'm not sure how. Just let Aurora load and when you try to go the dashboard, hold LB or RB. Not sure which hahaha This will boot the OG Dash just once. 4. I don't understand your wording on this... I'm just going to say yeah you can run off a USB all the time, the console doesn't need the official hard drive to run. Just make sure you format the USB for the console via the storage settings. Keep a fresh copy of Dashlaunch and Aurora on the root of this hard drive and you'll be sweet. If it was to fail it's just a case of redownloading any games/apps you had originally and putting them on again. 5. It's all hardware. Once the console has been RGH'd it's had a new nand flashed so it's not going to fail because of a corrupted/deleted file. ***it's been a long long time since i've fully messed with my rgh, so of this info could be wrong/outdated by now lol
  8. Confirm you are on the latest version of Aurora, there was a recent patch regarding Marketplace items. Also update your Dashlaunch to the latest version and confirm both liveblock and xhttp is disabled. If you are changing these setting in Dashlaunch, make sure you are saving the changes. If the problem persists try and edit the Launch.ini on your PC and save it that way.
  9. what plugins do you currently have loaded in your launch.ini file?
  10. Do you have the GOTY edition? That comes with two discs and you will have to copy the Content folder off the disc1 (or whichever has the Content folder) and place that on your internal hdd.
  11. I had an issue with Bioshock 2 also, it ended up being a plugin I had in the Dashlaunch.ini. See what you've got and remove as needed.
  12. Maybe because you're currently using Aurora. If you use HxD or something else with FTP or even to copy to a USB will work.
  13. Does the console boot to Xell when you power on using the eject button?
  14. How are you loading Aurora if that's the case?
  15. It seems a few people have had similar issues with this, when Aurora tries to download covers/assets. I'm not 100% sure if you can block Aurora from downloading covers/assets via the settings, but I would suggest disconnecting from the internet while scanning, then downloading covers individually and see if that throws the error again.
  16. Are you definitely loading the fresh Aurora install? Yeah it is possible to format the 360s Hard Drive but I'm almost certain that won't be causing the issue. I honestly think it's something to do with your internet connection to the console. Aurora is trying to fetch the assets but fails in doing so...
  17. Download a fresh copy of Dashlaunch and a fresh copy of Aurora and place them on your HDD in new paths. Then configure dashlaunch to the settings you use.
  18. Do you have the option in dashlauch that actually allows you to download assets? ; if set to true, this will block the console from resolving LIVE related dns ; if not set this value will be TRUE liveblock = true ; if liveblock is set to true, this will block the console from resolving all MS related dns ; setting this to TRUE will also block apps like freestyle from accessing things like cover images ; *** note that if NO INI is present for launch.xex, this is set to TRUE ; if not set this value will be FALSE livestrong = true I believe this is the setting in dashlaunch, make sure both are set to false. (Please someone correct me if Im wrong, havent been on my rgh in a while now)
  19. So you'll need to edit the profileid and rename the actual profile file and the folder tree on the hard drive. Then in Horizon edit the profileid to match whatever you changed and in the account editor uncheck LIVE Profile. This should now be moved over to the internal hdd. If you just completely copy the Orignal LIVE profile you won't have to redownload it.
  20. This was off my RGH Hard drive. Copied the TitleID from the link provided and this is what came up, hope it's what you needed! Trainer(RETROBYTE).xex
  21. Sorry for the double post. Open Content.db Click Browse Data tab and scroll slightly right and you'll see description, this is where you edit the synopsis.
  22. I don't have my rgh at hand, send me a pm with your content.db and I'll have a look and show you some screenshots. If I find a backup of my rgh files on this pc, I'll post pics.
  23. Open the Content.db file I believe it's called. This will give you every game/app installed with file paths, names, titleids and synopsis' all available to edit. Not used my RGH in a while Aurora could've changed since I last used.
  24. reinstall aurora I believe is the only work around
