  1. Went through the changelog and new features. Looks really solid. I won't be using it often, due to a switch to the PS4, but these Aurora updates are miles ahead of any PS4 System Software updates I've been getting recently. Congratz!!

  2. Wrong. The first disc is a required DLC disc. insert that one  and play the game, so it installs those files to the HDD(Will not work if installed as an extracted rip). after that rip Disc 2,3,4 into a folder like hdd:\games\WolfNewOrder\Disc (2,3,4) then go to aurora, and download the TU, and play the game. the freestyle plugin will handle the rest. You should read the first link under helpful links in my sig, as it has all the required info for this, and many other JTAG/RGH related things, you might want to know.

Thought I remembered correctly but apparently not. Thanks for correcting.

  3. but how do i install multi disk games such as wolfenstein new order onto my HDD i have the retail dash aurora dash as well as freestly dash altho aurora is my main dash would prefer to install them to the HDD so i dont have to bother with the dvd drive

Wolfenstein The New Order has 4 discs that are playable. Using Aurora, you can rip each disc to a folder on your HDD. After having 4 Wolfenstein folders on your internal HDD, you can reboot your console and Aurora will scan the HDD for new games. The 4 discs will show up and you can start either one of them. In the game, Aurora will automatically look for the correct disc depending on your progression through the campaign. I don't remember an additional installation procedure being required.

  4. True, Oblivion's second disc is all the DLC content. For other multi-disc games, you load one and the other discs should automatically load when it's necessary in the story (e.g., for Mass Effect 2/3). Even other multi-disc games, the single player content is contained on one disc, while the multiplayer content is on the second disc (e.g., BF4). Finally, some games like GTA V, need an install of the second disc content before being able to play the normal game that is located on the first disc. The install content is then just some graphics/physics data that's needed to play the game.

(P.S.: a disk is a drive like a HDD or a SSD, a disc is a disc like DVD, CD, Blu-ray.)

  5. After reading some of the topics the last couple of weeks, I just want to say 'thank you' to all of you investing your time trying to help others. This is an awesome community with a lot of brilliant and brilliantly rational people.

  6. Have you tried other flash drives for testing? That would probably help you know if the HDD is the problem.

Good suggestion to try other USB drives on your 360.

If the problem is only caused by your 500 Gb drive, you could try to format it. FAT32 or exFAT.

If the problem persists for all other USB devices, then it's probably software related and you could try updating your dashboard or install a new version of Aurora. Maybe clearing the cache can also work.

  7. Am I correct to deduce from your little amount of information that you have a normal Xbox 360? If so, then you should find a person who can RGH your console and put the software on there for you.

  8. Finally made my choice after seeing this  ABSOLUTELY EPIC!!

Friend of mine said the exact same thing. :p

(I never played a FF game, and I'm not gonna start, it's just not so appealing to me. But I certainly get why other people are fond of the series.)

  9. I have no experience with this, but I just want to give some advice. Take it or leave it. :)

Make sure you have a steady day-time job first. Make sure you save some money for when things get rough. You can start making youtube vids with passion as your hobby/pastime but don't expect payment for a long while. If making vids does catch on with the public, only then can you start thinking about earning money.

If you need to ask strangers on forums how to make money on youtube, I think it's best you don't get too excited.

    Enjoy life! Mith out.

  10. Lol,some people are not so lucky to have next gen ahem.. "Current" gen consoles ya know

I know. But I meant that one could just go for the DAI Xbox 360 version and use the Default World State. The World State doesn't add to, nor does it take away anything meaningful from the game.

  11. I played Dragon Age Origins and it was great! From reading some reviews, I thought I'd skip Dragon Age II, but read up on the story and make my decisions in the Dragon Age Keep based on that.

I was also bummed I couldn't use the world state on my RGH for Dragon Age Inquisition, so I decided to buy a PS4 and a copy of the game for the PS4. I'm now about 30 hours in, and I only found some minor references to what happened in the previous two games. Although I like encountering those references, they don't impact the game in any way (so far).

Conclusion: You can just go with the default world state without any problem! Just read on the Dragon Age Keep what that default state is, and then play Inquisition on your RGH. Have fun!
