  1. Your username is Pramod. The account was not yet activated. I have activated it already as well.
  2. I've put this on github: https://github.com/ThaMattie/Xbox360TitleParser Let me know if you can get it running (it was made in C#, in visual studio 2010)
  3. I wrote a tool once that adds a desktop.ini and an icon from xbox.com to each <titleid> folder. I will try to find the sourcecode and put it on github when i do.
  4. From the documentation: Known Issues of Shell Extension for Xbox 360 The Xbox 360 kernel supports ANSI file names only. As a result, any attempt to create, copy, or rename a file or folder with non-ANSI characters generates an error saying the file name is invalid. .... So we can't fix this. As for smb in fsd, it seems it had a seperate client. When I try it though, it won't access my server and I see no password dialog or anything.

I don't have the FSD source at hand, we just forwarded the domains back to where they were last week

But you do require our online services... Anyway, we don't want to 'push' anyone to Aurora, we sincerely believe it is a far better piece of software than FSD ever was (of course there is a matter of taste concerning the menu layout or skinning, but stability and speed are far superior) As for fixing stuff in ConnectX... we can't change that, we can only look if it is the way we read those filenames FROM connectx...

ok, so now we will do a test with these paid online services you mentioned, please donate 100$ or we will turn it off again

  9. do they show correctly once they are copied over to the xbox? Do you have a sample name? I don't have any files with Cyrillic letters...

I think you have the wrong impression on all of what we do here.... First of all, we don't owe anyone anything. If we turn of this server tomorrow (it all costs us money) there will be no more fsd, aurora, link or anything. Now besides all that, the fact Aurora is called beta, does not mean it is not stable. We never made it release because we kept adding features, which of course COULD have bugs. It is more stable than FSD ever could be. If you have cover issues with Aurora, I am assuming they are caused by the internal server errors we get more often lately. You would have gotten the same issues with FSD. Nobody cares to donate anymore, so we can't upgrade the server. You are saying that we should have leave a stable working FSD before moving to Aurora, but you also keep claiming FSD was more stable..... We cannot predict bugs 5 years in the future. Having said all that, it MIGHT be a server issue we could fix, and we WILL be looking into it, if possible.
  11. Well first of all, people need to stop comparing FSD to Aurora... Aurora is not FSD4 it is a new dash, and has nothing to do with fsd anymore. Second, as Swizzy states, Aurora has been in beta sinds 0.1 and there is no release yet. Third, there is network exploring in Aurora, it's connectx, and it seems to be working fine for the majority of users (including us developers) As for the connectx versions, maybe someone can provide you a hash, mine is useless it has some experimental patches that never seemed needed....
  12. Have you looked into WHY connectx is slow and unstable? I use it and it is the same speed and stability as smb was in FSD... I even wrote myself a script that "imports" a game from connectx to my hdd.... As for SMB, the smb dll was not included because there is an issue with link no longer working when using it. Also the one in fsd has a bug when overwriting files, it can cause corruption (it only happens when the new file is smaller than the old file). @Saywalking, there arent any connectx updates in coming releases. It is loaded by aurora, just like fsd, and that is it. connectx is from microsoft, so no changes there either.
  13. just the last 3 steps, and yeah script would be nice again, but the one who made it is really busy atm. there arent that many people making scripts, unless you are making like 50 now
  14. Our script that automatically builds the repo was lost when the server got reinstalled last time. These will NOT show up in the repo browser automatically anymore (i have to manually add them, which takes time). Just so you know why it can take a while for them to show...
  15. I merged the pull request, It can take a while for it to show in the script list though
  16. When you add a scan path, you don;t have to hit the scan button. it will start automatically one thing i notice, is you have odd scan paths set. you are scanning the system and flash drive? Adding both content\ and content\000000000000000000 is also not really needed. and your scan depths don;t need to be that high. also setting content\0000000000000000 to homebrew is a bit odd... i don;t see the usb drive either
  17. I did remember seeing it before and it does indeed already exist: XPowerRemap 2.0 (XPRemap 2.0): http://xpowerplay.blogspot.nl/
  18. it IS possible actually, by writing a plugin (for dashlaunch for example), we have looked into it a long time ago... it was actually going to be a part of NOVA some day.
  19. you have 2 accounts, jggbgm and #jggbgm, both are not activated. send me a PM wthe the email you want to use and i will activate it (and delete the other one)
  20. should be approved now, try to login again
