each folder has a limit inside them, yes.. but if you split those folders, you bypass this limitation..
it is a kernel limitation.. nothing to do with aurora..
It wasn't the folder limit that stopped me, it was that around 2000 titles and aurora just stopped displaying new games. Could be a problem on my end though, I am profoundly unknowledgeable.

It's been too long since I've checked the forums, you've been cranking these out like a madman!
-
That's great news! you should post it to the "OG Xbox and 360 Modding, Trading, Collecting, Discussion" on Facebook as it will likely get more traction there.

I think that will be the only way unless they patch aurora. The good news is that according to the FatXplorer write up by Eatonworks if you patch your nand with the new large hard drive patch that load times will be significantly shorter.
-
My only thought about getting around this is to run one installation of Aurora that has four (or more) dummy games, one for each category, that point to other installs of the Aurora dashboard. Each installation you make will only scan a single folder (One folder for XBLA, one for Games, one for homebrew, etc) and therefore separate your game library between installations. Then simply launch the corresponding dummy for XBLA, GAMES, HOMEBREW, OGXBOX, etc. That way when you launch whichever category you've picked it will only list the games for that category and help you stay below the current limit.
I know that's not quiet the workaround that you're going for, but it might be the best that can be managed at the moment.

So we may get NetISO after all?
I'm blown away that things are still being worked on, thanks Gavin! -
I've looked for this as well. I don't know of any way to do so. Someone will need to do the leg work of getting each one individually and bundling them.
So, if you end up doing it, start a torrent and send me a link, lol!

It can be downloaded directly through the dashboard via the plugins section.

If you don't want to worry about selecting individual files and folders just use the iso2god plugin instead.

Nice to see you on realmodscene Josh! I love your work, your upgrades to J-runner are now essential for any modder/installer.

That'll be rad! be sure to hit up some of the xbox 360 modding facebook groups, they'll be all about this!

Mostly offline, I tend to spend my time on current gen for multiplayer. I'm actually performing this install for a friend of mine.

Thanks for updating this, I just picked it up to do a fresh install tonight!

New Homebrew for the 360? Do my eyes deceive me?

Are you talking about removing your mod or just accessing the original dashboard? The original dash is always there, just hold right bumper at startup.

Watching these projects from the sidelines is so frustrating, I wish I could help, but I make my living swinging a hammer. You guys that put in the work on these projects are my heroes, dead serious.

Very cool! Thank you very much, this must have taken a lot of time!

That thing looks like they played it in the bottom of a bowl of vegetable beef stew!

That's an impressive bunch of consoles! Wish I could help you with the devkit.

Awesome, thanks for the input, I'm going to mess around with X2 and see which suits me best.

I may be wrong, but I think I remember reading somewhere that cutting the traces did something to help prevent the chip from overheating, but it was incidental to something else I was researching at the time. Anyway, I just checked my mother board revision and it looks like I've got a 1.4 so I'm out of luck for using a bank switch.

Thanks Gavin, I've never used a bank switch, any recommendations?

This was 10 years ago, so I might be wrong. But I swear it had something to do with certain types of DVD drives in Xbox 360 consoles. Some drives will, for whatever reason, prevent the console from booting into some Xell programs.
