Use xexmenu to install/load dashlaunch 3.04 then load it, once you load it, set your settings up and save the settings to flash. Dashlaunch will do that for you

your not going to see the full 1024GB (1TB), you never will. My xbox see's about 980ish If your going to swap the default hard drive inside the xbox (say 250gb) and replace it with the 1tb you'll be fine. The xbox will say unconfigured drive, you format it and thats it done. This is what I had to do myself. I too have a custom internal hard drive, 1tb. Samsung.

Try playing the game from a folder on your 360 hard drive instead of a GoD format. I sometimes get issues with games (espically newer ones) where the GoD format crashes. It can be easily be fixed by getting the disc and install it to the hard drive via official dash and use NXE2GOD to convert it. I had this problem with several games particuraly with kinect games. That trick fixed it. As for your title updates, delete them and install them manually. Your duplicate title updates could be 1 for US and 1 for EU. There is a website you can get title updates from (http://marketplace.jqe360.com/) search for game id (415608C3) (CoD BO2) and download your title updates, then upload to your cache folder. Try Yaris swapping them too, normally not required but I do it anyway. Admins: If I was not suppose to share a link, please remove it and please accept my apoligies.

Try unplugging the 4gb memory and see if it boots. It doesn't take that much to open up the console. Leave it open while you try it and inspect the little wires (the chip) while you've got it opened, make sure one hasn't fallen loose from its socket.

Brilliant, I love the kinect health warning removal. Possible suggestions? Is it possibel to remove the "Indie Games" startup screen. Telling users how its not rated, etc... Would save like 10 seconds every time I load an indie. Other than that, 3.04 is the best I've used, it is brilliant and the autofake is perfect

You need to format the hard drive it on the xbox first. If you have data on it, it will be deleted. To format goto the official system settings > storage and format the unregonisable drive. Also, use the USB at the back of the console. I've had performance issues with the front 2 usb (possible usb 1.1), I've had no issues with the back usb ports.

Kernal 15574 with systemupdate for avatars/kinect F3 DashLauch 3.04 I think it is installed. Launch.ini in flash When I went onto the 16197 dash my profile started F*cking about, corrput, after playing a game so I downgraded the kernal and it was still appearing as corrupt after gaming, but when I deleted the profile and put it back on again (from my official xbox) it was fine, and has been since. I personally think its the 16197 dash, it was fine uintil the systemupdate for avatars/kinect my problems started.

Delete the live profile and transfer a new one over (re-download it from an official box), problem still exist. Downgrade kernal.

Those avatar items are pre 13599 dashboard, they will not work on newer dashboards. Remember the avatar wardrobe update

I got this before, I removed hard drive, powered xbox and it booted, powered off, plugged back in the HD and powered the xbox and it was fine. Worth a try.

I think nickunk is right, it was the 16197 dasboard. I Flashed the xbox back to 15574 and installed the systemupdate for avatars. I deleted the live profile from the xbox and re-downloaded it from MS to transfer back over to the RGH and it works fine. FSD3 didn't corrupt it, The 16197 didn't corrupt it, the 16197 systemupdate for avatar/kinect support corrupt it. It was easy fix but a simple sign out and sign back in but regardless, shouldn't happen.

No its not the Kernal, I downgraded, it has to be a FSD 3 glitch. When I sign into my live profile on the RGH its all ok when I load a game, when i press the dashboard button, my profile is greyed. No more icon. When I quit to F3, my gamerpic is corrput, GS 0, avatar gone, in the USB storage, says corrupt profile, turn off xbox, turn on, and its all ok again. Having to do this each time.

Hi Guys. I've a young one who adores her xbox 360, particular the Simpsons Game (360 version and the xb orginals + M\Craft). We have all orginal copies but with a Free60 all the games are backed up on her xbox console. No hassle of swapping Disc. Shes not a fan of the forced Dashboard update (metro), I know I can take it back to NXE but that means her fav game "M/Craft" wont work. I'm going to get her used to Freestyle Dash (Thats the plan), but the settings button, can that be removed, hidden or even locked. We all know what kids are like, Don't touch settings, first hing they do, settings... I wouldnt have a problem her playing in the settings only it has one downside.. Fan Control. The only protection I can think of for her to use FSD is to child lock the "Settings" button. Any ideas, thanks
