  1. GAme DAtaBAse MAnager... Gadabama, pretty clever actually. You can also just upload them to FSD using the web interface, since Gadabama can be a bit of a chore to setup.
  2. In either, I believe TU's need to be scanned to show up. My understanding is that both Aurora and FSD copy TU's to their own directory, I might be mistaken though.
  3. Well, there's no reason to get rid of anything you already have. Just installing Aurora doesn't mean FSD won't work anymore, although you might find it gets used less after Aurora . I still have FSD installed, as well as XEXMenu etc. But anyways, that's why there's a whole forum here to support you. If you have any questions, ask away... Most questions have already been answered on this site though, it's just a matter of searching/researching.
  4. Look for a program called Quickboot (2.1? me thinks) Then you can make a shortcut that you can install to CODE9999 folder.
  5. You might consider upgrading to Aurora, it's pretty easy to make out disk usage in Aurora's File manager.
  6. Great work. It would be nice if there was just a radio button to toggle each sound/slider, but I think you've tackled the one problem people had with background music so far. Keep it up felida.
  7. It happens... I miss the fact that we can't play Ninja Gaiden vanilla with hurricane packs since live went offline on the OG Xbox. I so wanted to be able to use the intercept technique
  8. Xui tools is in the SDK, which is illegal to distribute. That's why it's not available here.
  9. What are your scan paths and where did you put your homebrew? That is most likely your issue and you'll have to share that info for help fixing it.
  10. Felida has made transition sounds before with XYZGen skin, I think everything but coverflow movement and camera angles has sound. But i'm not aware of any transition sound for coverflow yet, if it's even possible. You might need to try to do it yourself if that's what you're after. Maybe take apart an FSD skin and see if there is something to be learned there, as they used to use sounds for coverflow.
  11. From what I read, disk2 is undead nightmare DLC, Disk1 is the game disc. I don't have the game though so not sure.
  12. I would imagine it's the same as any other install. FTP into Games folder and create a single folder called Red Dead Redemption, or how ever you feel like spelling it, then Put disk1 and disk2 folders inside that. Make sure that you set the correct scan depth and scan for new titles afterwards. Is there a specific problem you're having with FTP? Have you tried something and it's not working??
  13. True dashlaunch is more than just any one file, I didn't figure any of the other files would be very useful without instruction from launch.ini though. Didn't mean to make it sound like launch.ini was the only thing DL installed, lolz.
  14. Even if that worked, what would be the point? Launching Aurora without dashlaunch seems silly in this case, you still have to disable the freestyle plugin to use local system link. There is a reason XeBuilds include a launch.ini, so your flash partition has one. Then even if you accidentally delete the one in your hdd/usb you are still protected. I just don't see a reason to have a JTAG/RGH without dashlaunch.
  15. I don't believe the problem here is with dashlaunch... If I remember correctly, you need to disable the Freestyle plugin in Aurora for local system link games. Otherwise it always tries to connect over the internet to LiNK. Without dashlaunch (launch.ini actually, dashlaunch is the configurator), you will only boot to NXE... and will get your console banned by M$ (due to no liveblock).
  16. BTW Coke, you don't really want to disable liveblock, only livestrong. Liveblock is what keeps your console from getting banned. Sorry, I overlooked that in your first post.
  17. You won't get synopsis for Xbox Classics because Xbox.com only lists Xbox 360 and Xbox One games... and some backwards compatible titles like Ninja Gaiden Black. The only way for now is to edit the db yourself. If you install sqlitebrowser, you can FTP in to your 360 and open up Aurora's database found in Hdd1/Aurora/Data/Databases/content.db. I made a post about it here and even a pretty little picture of it here. I have scraped Synopsis/Descriptions from places like GameFAQs, Gamespot, Metacritic, etc. etc. You can also use the Aurora Asset Editor tool to upload banners, backgrounds and screenshots that are missing in Xbox Classic games... I've done all of them for my classic games. I think swizzy said there may be another way to do it in Aurora 0.6b, but don't quote me on that. I would honestly like to see all assets hosted from Unity, including changing Marketplace Rating to Unity Rating etc. But, that's just me.
  18. Passed it on to another possibly interested party. Will let you know.
  19. Lolz, those instructions were added after he requested it. Enjoy
  20. So I originally made Spread a while ago but decided to revisit it to fix things and add new stuff. V2 is the same original look but now includes all extra views which I had never finished. I also based a couple of views off of Rising Phoenix. Spread was originally designed to go with the S.H.I.E.L.D skin by Sm0k3 Tr4c3r, but feel free to try it out on your favorite skin as well. Unzip and install to Aurora/Media/Layouts/<file goes here> Enable by pressing "B" then tab over to Theme and Select Cover Layout Spread V2 by Quattrogam3r.zip normal
  21. That might be problematic since (I think) Aurora runs best on internal and many/most people store their games on the external. Maybe if it was an option during setup, like: Select this if your games will be installed on internal hdd Select this if your games will be installed on USB0 Select this if you would like to manually set the path Then maybe Aurora could create those paths for either of the first two options, or you could manually enter them in if you have a custom path. Might be more hassle than it's worth though, since most people's games are already installed where they want them. Also, since there's no installer for Aurora yet, it would have to be a config option, or a utility script in 0.6b (or later). Good idea though.
  22. Haha, reminds me of a 1984 Tom Selleck movie called Runaway where they shoot smart bullets... Yeah, thats Gene Simmons from Kiss firing the gun.
