Jasper xbox360 that won't boot up. The problem was likely a bad 120mm fan mod hooked up to the DVD drive cable. I was intending to use the 12v and GND from the DVD power connector to power the fan. I may have either grounded a voltage (3.3v/5v/12v), or put too much load on it somehow. It was perfectly working before this.
Nothing is visibly burned. I have replacement xboxes to test with. My personal guess is 5v mosfets are somehow destroyed.
Problem description:
No response whatsoever from power button. PSU light stays orange the whole time. Tried different RF boards.
When pwr and 5v standby is jumped, and then you plug in the PSU, it spins the fans a little bit then dies down, PSU power light remains green (Im guessing because its jumped). Fans spin up and down again briefly when the psu cable is disconnected.
It's a RGHable Jasper, so may be worth saving.
