Had a similar problem on my daughters phat xbox, The tray once opened would not close properly unless force was used. The tray looked closed but the ROL would flash and then after 10 or so seconds the tray would open. Turns out that when I RGH'd it the drive was not seated correctly causing it to foul the facia.

I have a spare one. Its not on V3 code but I could sort that out. Nand-X, USB cable and mobo cable boxed, £13 including delivery.

I would of said that the hdmi port on your laptop is an output port. What model of laptop is it?

When you say "online" how do you mean? XBL or Link XBL and jtags do not mix well. You can attempt it but I would not recommend it as you will face a console ban pretty quick. Link is now built in to fsd so you can play system link games over the internet. All you have to do is set it up and away you go. Link will work on a banned console to.

How do you expect anyone to give you help on a issue where you provide 1 line of info and out of that 1 line its only "hdd...stuck! why?" which gives anyone an idea of what your asking. What skin are you using? how much free space have you got on your hdd? are you running a internal hdd? is your internet connection timing out? have you altered anything recently (console/router)? have you tried a router reboot? Doing a quick reset can often solve little glitches such as this,yeah you may have to redownload covers and TU but if it solves the issue whats the biggy. You really should not be so quick to dismiss the idea.

Dave you are a legend, I thought I'd put them in the wrong place. will jigga them about in the morning and port back. I will also update my content manager as the I'm using is ver2.1. Got all my consoles (rgh) connected on my home network with my drives mapped on my laptop but having the CM move them for me is a little easier I suppose. Again thanks to you both for your input if I can get it working for my lad he'll be proper happy.

Irish dave, love your first post. When I read it i was like wtf..... i did buy it.....cheaky git I shall be having another play with it in the morning as my lad is in bed and the console in his room. With regards to the skin pack and TU im now wondering if I put them in the wrong place, I just droped them in the content0000000000 folder. now I dont do a lot when it comes down to dlc as if I want it I play it on my legit xbox but im sure that the issue is where its placed. Hi folks, looking for a little help with regard the mass effect skin pack in minecraft. I recently downloaded this on XBL and my little lad when absolutely nuts, now he wants it on his rgh xbox. Now ive copied it from my legit console to a memory stick along with the TU unlocked it in content manager and transferred it to his console but it refuses to load the skin pack. Any help would be appreciated.

There are somethings that just will not see the light of day on a jtag/rgh like gta 5 online, countless EA games BF3 to mention just 1. But this personally does not bother myself as the following makes more sense than people care to think about. At the moment gta 5 online is very hit and miss, this being said rockstar did warn of this from the outset but when I do eventually get into a game with some friends theres nothing better than just pointlessly driving about smashing sh*t up. This game is worth every penny nuff said. And on a CoD note I too hate cheaters but its still a good game where you can jump in and wipeout 1-2 hours of your day without really thinking about it.

The installer is ok if you have means of getting it to your hdd either by xex menu, ftp or directly by connecting your hdd to your pclaptop and getting full access to it. do you have any means yet? have you tried booting your console with an attached usb stick containing fsd?

using the file structure mentioned above place fsd on a usb stick, place it in your xbox and boot it up and see what it does.

First thing you want to do is download xex menu from xbins. http://www.realmodscene.com/xbins/dashboards/XeXMenu/ xbins can also be found at the top of this page the link will take you straight to xex menu. The easiest way is to burn the xex.iso to disk. You can use image burn for this. XEX menu will only boot from disk if your drive is modified with cfw. Once you have booted xex menu the simplest way is to have the FSD rev 775 files on a usb stick and just copy fsd to the root of your drive, if oggy has done your install then i'm 99.99% sure that it will boot fsd on its first run. Make sure your FSD folder is set up like this.... Main... Inside main Now depending on your launch.ini it may or may not work on its first run, but it should........ he says with his fingers crossed

The wd drive you have chosen will work just fine. I have used (and still got) one of these and they are good value for the money. If i remember correctly with this drive it self powers down after a certain amount of time (power save), which really is no issue if its constantly in use but there is a way to turn the power save of. It comes with its own little gui where you can adjust the setting of the drive, all you have to do is turn the power save feature of and your good. When you power down your console the drive will also power down. If you do not want to adjust the settings for the hdd then you can set dash launch to poll the drive every minute or two to keep it from entering power save mode. All the apps for the wd drive come on the drive itself. Remember to make a backup of these apps before you format the drive the fat32, not really a necessity as I believe you could just download them from there website but it might save you a bit of hassle. If you see prolonged boot times with your console with the hdd connected, as in it seems to hang on the boot logo do not be surprised as this is perfectly normal. All thats happening is the console is scanning the drive for content so the more content you have on the drive the longer it takes to complete the scan.

Dial into your hub and you should have a option to manually set an ip address for your xbox. I have used a belkin N router in the past and had to do this.
