salah.rgh2 162 Posted December 6, 2016 Xbox Live is an online multiplayer gaming and digital media delivery service created and operated by Microsoft. It was first made available to the Xbox System Link is a form of offline multiplayer gaming on the Xbox and Xbox 360 gaming console over a LAN (local area network). A network switch and standard straight-through Ethernet cables may be used to link multiple consoles together, or two consoles can be connected directly. Connecting two Xbox consoles to each other without a switch requires a crossover cable, while Xbox 360 consoles can use standard cables. So it is not used the same Port. This is what I know That is a good description of what each are, but actually has nothing to do with the ports. The ports that are opened are less for system link, and more for the VPN that is required for system link to work over the internet. as for xbox live, it only uses one port, as they can multiplex all of the data to the server into one data stream.
