This is debug builds, debug information... it's also only for Aurora, once you start your game it no longer works...

I'm not sure how feasible it would be to count the frames with average, max and minimum with minimum impact on the game, especially since the plugin pretty much only have 32MB - whatever the kernel & xam needs, very constrained resources ;)

On top of that, you have to draw over the game itself, not exactly easy to do either (without negative effects om the game)

What good would this be? I cant see any use for knowing the framerate of a game, when there is nothing you can do to make it better. Just my thoughts. The debug builds of aurora have this, but that is because the developers can use this to fix issues. eg if a thread is messing with rendering, it will allow them to see that easier. even if it is only by a couple of frames per second. With a game, I am sure the debug builds have a similar feature, but good luck getting those, as the only people who have them are the developers, and Microsoft, who do extensive testing on the game before they allow a final release.
