Can an admin or mod help me with this?I got a mail from Realmodscene saying that a got a PM from someone some 12 hours ago ,the problem is i did not get the notification. and i'm not sure i know the user when i try to select the message or username it says "SORRY, YOU DON'T HAVE PERMISSION FOR THAT!" . Was the message from someone named "ArnestWelm"? if that's the one, the message is gone because i deleted any PM sent from this person as i received a message that to me screamed Spammer - i banned the person sending the message and deleted everything sent by that account as to protect other users from possibly visiting a website that may contain viruses and whatnot. In general, that message which you mention pops up when the message has been deleted either by an admin or yourself, of course... if you happen to have multiple accounts, that could also be the reason for the problem (although, that shouldn't happen) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Yes ,that's the name ,he wrote in russian wishing happy easter or something like that. I did not know he was a spammer .Thanks for the quick reply ,topic can be close. Well, based on the link to a russian website completely unrelated, and wishing a happy easter when it's not easter and messaging random people is basically what spammers do... They want you to visit their website so they can either infect your system or get you to do something else (most of the time the pages linked to try to sell you something or have porn on them) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
